Driving on mostly town for 650 easy going miles
This is an initial review after 1000km / 650 miles. As my old Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 winter tyres are past their life and my Michelin Primacy 4 summer tyres have only one summer left in them, I have decided to take a chance with All-Season tyres and these Falkens were my final selection after watching several Tyre Reviews videos on Youtube.

+ I live in Lithuania where some winters get LOTS of snow, ice, and -20C temperatures and some winters are nothing more than a slightly colder Fall with minimal amounts of snow. This year (2022/2023 Winter), December was pretty brutal with heavy amounts of snow and ice, some of the worst conditions in the past 5 years. Fortunately, Falkens beat whatever nature threw at them. No problems driving through thick snow or pure ice, the car does not slide around and whenever I tried having some fun at the parking lots (purely for testing) the tires didn't let me do that, because whenever I tried to drift, at the very minimal sliding Falkens automatically "corrected" the car so I could describe this experience as driving on train tracks, safe and stable. In my 10 years of driving I have never had a better grip nor never did I feel as safe as I feel right now during winter.

+ In dry or wet conditions (October/November) tyres feel as good, and they are very comfortable to drive (I do feel like they are better in comfort than Primacy 4, though are louder). The car drives smoothly like a cruise ship and remains super nimble when turning up the aggression.

- The weak point of these tyres is fuel economy. If fuel economy is something you prioritize, I would recommend looking at other options. These tyres have high rolling resistance so fuel consumption jumps quite a bit. In my experience, it jumped by 2-3 liters per 100km which is quite noticeable especially when you look at the dashboard. Worse than Hakkapeliitta R2 winters, and much worse than Primacy 4 summers.

In Lithuania, All-Season tyres are still not recommended by the mass and are considered unsafe, especially in the brutal winter conditions we do get now and then, but these Falkens have their arguments as to why they are good. I've seen so many people driving with WINTER tyres and struggling on pure ice or snow while my driving experience felt like driving an amphibious car.
