Positive : Reliable Dry Grip, Comfortable
Negative : Wet Grip is Below Avg tires

Conclusion : If you're lived in rainy weather = 10/10 not recommend

these tyres are absolute disaster in rainy days.i also use this tyres on size of 16 with different car. braking distance is enourmously longer than dry roads.i tested it almost 5,000 kms in different conditions and i don't think worst than this tyre in rainy roads.although that in the dry roads handling and braking distance is quite good.Sadly these are huge dissappointment.Don't recommend.

Grip seems to be pretty good in the dry and wet but doesn't seem to do so well with snow loses grip quite a bit, previous hankook tyres did much better on the snow this wasn't lots of snow either (few inch).

Being an average driver the tyres seem to last pretty well i think, worn down to about 2mm from new in 24k miles.

Sometimes I think the tryes feel a bit squishy or soft always looks like my front tryes aren't the correct pressure but they are.

After I tried the Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 and the Michelin Pilot Sport 3, I decided to try Michelin's Primacy 3. This tyre it was quite good in dry conditions. I was not satisfied at all in wet conditions, especially on roads with curves. The whole set lasted for 18.000 miles (the front set for 9.000 miles). 50% driven on motorways.

I have NEVER reviewed a tyre but I just have to with this one as it is ABYSMAL!

Let me qualify myself;

25yrs driving, own ALL licences, driven on every continent apart from Antarctica in every weather condition imaginable. Average mileage now per year 30k.

Vehicle these tyres are fitted to - 2011 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro

These tyres have ZERO feel to them. They drift all over the place and i need to constantly adjust my steering when on the motorway. If you hit a section of MW that is concrete the car drifts even more and feels like it's hit ruts.

I thought it was tracking - checked - no problem - ball joints/steering etc - checked no problem. The issue started as soon as they were fitted. I had full winter tyres on before, which stayed on during the summer and they had better feel then these Primacy 3's. They've been on the car for 3 weeks and I've driven about 1200 miles on them. I have ZERO confidence in them and have written to Michelin who will have them for inspection. No doubt to find nothing wrong with them after their bloke in the warehouse has a look at them and bounces them around for a couple of minutes as, lets face it, there is NO WAY they will admit to anything being wrong with the 4 tyres. And, quite likely, there probably ISN'T anything wrong with them, just that they don't work very well on a quattro system at that size - who knows.

Anyway, I have ordered a set of the Cross-Climate to be fitted whilst they come to a decision as to whether they'll give me a credit for them. They're not cheap at that size either!

Grip well in the wet and the dry but as far as the ride/comfort goes they are very poor, the wear seems poor after only 6000 miles and front to rear rotation they are about half worn, i would not buy them again.

primacy 3 lasted from 2014 to 2016,had them on front with all the weight in XL
wear I give 5/10 and buy again 5/10 as I just replaced them with hankook ventus V12 evo 2 which are 38% cheaper MUR 4130 per tyre against MUR 6600 but behave the same as new primacy 3. primacy 3 is expensive compared to rival. fitted the hankooks today and will recommend the K120 2016 batch

Mein alter Mercedes Diesel ist heruntergekommen, laut, hat eine stillgelegte Abgasrückführung und ich behandle ihn (wo immer es geht) so, als hätte ich ihn gestohlen. Ich bin nicht gerade nett zu Reifen. Diese hier habe ich ziemlich übel behandelt, aber sie haben niemals aufgegeben.
Ich habe gerne etwas Überdruck in meinen Reifen, etwa 2,75 bar. Sie haben doppelt so lange gehalten wie die Avon ZV3 Reifen, die ich vorher dran hatte. Ich habe sie auf der Autobahn bis 240 km/h getrieben, bin mit ihnen in jede Kurve geschlittert, die ich kriegen konnte, habe sie zum Glühen gebracht und in Rauch aufgehen lassen, einfach aus Spaß… Ich war sehr, sehr böse zu ihnen.
Nach 30.000 harten Kilometern ist auf den vorderen noch 5mm Profil drauf, und 2mm auf den hinteren – also werde ich sie bald austauschen müssen.
Überraschend griffig bei Nässe und ziemlich progressiv im Kreisverkehr mit nasser Fahrbahn. Habe nie Ausfahrten verpasst, was mir mit den Avons ein paar Mal passiert ist.
Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass sie nicht so viel Gefühl haben, aber das könnte auch an der Servolenkung liegen, die einen großen Teil des Feedbacks zunichtemacht.

Hatte vorher die Hankook Ventus V12 drauf und mochte sie überhaupt nicht. Dann zu den Michelin Primacy 3 gewechselt und das Auto ist wie verwandelt. Wieder gute Lenkfähigkeit und super Grip unter allen Bedingungen, laufen wieder schön geschmeidig und sehr leise. Ich komme kaum über den Unterschied hinweg, den ein Reifen ausmachen kann. Über Verschleiß kann ich noch nichts sagen, bin damit zu wenige Kilometer gefahren.

Bei ca. 130.000 Kilometern vorne aufgezogen, zur gleichen Zeit Laserausrichtung vorgenommen und die vorderen Stoßdämpfer, Federn, Dämpferlager & Kugellager ersetzt. Sie haben jetzt bis 159.000 gehalten und sind immer noch über der Verschleißgrenze. Beeindruckende Reifen. Unglaublicher Grip bei Nässe und Trockenheit. Vertraue den Reifen jederzeit zu 100%. Kommen jetzt leicht ins Rutschen bei voller Beschleunigung auf nasser Fahrbahn, sind aber auch schon voll runtergefahren! Unglaublicher Komfort und geräuscharm. Und super lange Haltbarkeit auf der Vorderachse eines Autos mit immerhin 354 Nm Drehmoment. Ich habe immer nur Premiumreifen mit Top-Bewertung von allen großen Marken gekauft. Das sind die besten Reifen, die ich je hatte – kein Vergleich. Absolute Empfehlung!
