2025 ADAC All Season Tyre Test P12 of 16

The Superia Ecoblue2 4S receives an overall "adequate" rating for driving safety, with its final score being downgraded due to very weak performance on wet roads. On dry surfaces, it provides poor steering feedback and is imprecise, requiring frequent corrections and exhibiting a tendency to oversteer, leading to a barely satisfactory rating. Its performance on wet roads is particularly poor, scoring as "adequate" for braking, lateral aquaplaning, and handling due to low grip levels and early, prolonged sliding. In contrast, its winter performance is good, with positive results for braking on snow and ice and good traction, though its snow handling just misses a good rating. Environmentally, the Chinese-made tyre scores a satisfactory grade; while its wear and weight are acceptable, its projected mileage is not, and its sustainability is rated as merely adequate due to the manufacturer's failure to provide requested ISO certifications or other sustainability credentials.

Performance Analysis

Drawn from 2 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.

The Superia Ecoblue2 4S has shown weak wet braking in both of its all-season tests, while winter grip was more competitive in its full comparison. It finished 12th of 16 in the 2025 ADAC test, with wet braking 14th of 16 on both surfaces, about 20-21% behind the best. Straight aquaplaning was also 14th and curved aquaplaning 13th. ADAC criticised low wet grip, early and prolonged sliding, and imprecise dry steering that needed frequent correction. Its driving-safety rating was only adequate, with wet-road performance lowering the final score.

Snow braking and traction were joint fifth of 16 in that test, and ice braking sixth, supporting ADAC's more favourable winter assessment. Dry braking was also more competitive than the wet result, at seventh of 16, though that did not remove the handling criticism. Predicted mileage was the lowest at 34,700 km, so the winter results did not come with a tread-life advantage. In the 2024 Auto Bild market overview it was 28th of 37 overall, with wet braking 29th of 37 and dry braking 21st. The repeated wet-braking weakness is clearer than any broad all-season performance strength.
