2025 Autobild SUV Winter Tyre Test
1st/13
235/50 R19 • 2025
The BRIDGESTONE Blizzak 6 presents as a top-tier snow expert, lauded for delivering the best traction and exemplary side grip on wintery road surfaces. This competence in harsh conditions does not come at the expense of performance elsewhere; it is described as a well-balanced tyre with high-level capabilities on both wet and dry pavement. While it performs admirably across the board, it only just misses achieving the very top results in the wet-weather disciplines, solidifying its position as a leading, versatile winter tyre.

225/40 R18 • 2025
The Bridgestone Blizzak 6 positions itself as a sporty choice with particularly high lateral grip in dry conditions, making it feel more responsive and agile than typical winter tyres. This performance-oriented character extends to impressive wear resistance, achieving the highest mileage potential in the test alongside Goodyear. The tyre handles predictably across all conditions with strong overall balance. However, it shows a slight weakness in wet cornering situations, where lateral grip isn't quite as strong as in other conditions. On snow, it delivers reliable performance with good braking and traction. The tyre's sporty nature and long lifespan make it an excellent choice for enthusiastic drivers of compact sports cars who don't want to sacrifice too much handling precision during winter months, though the approximately €600 price tag reflects its premium positioning.
2025 High Performance Winter Tyre Test
2nd/7
275/35 R19 • 2025
The brand-new Bridgestone Blizzak 6 demonstrates very balanced driving dynamics on snow, making it particularly adept at handling Germany's feared cold wet conditions. Testers praised its very short braking distances and safe, tendency-to-understeer handling on both wet and dry roads. The tyre also proved very secure during evasive maneuvers. However, it showed longer braking distances and somewhat reduced cornering stability with pronounced understeer, particularly in dry curves. The Bridgestone stands out as the strongest performer on wet surfaces among the winter tyres tested, offering drivers confidence when rain meets cold temperatures.

Fitted for alfa giulia so mixed setup 225/255. Potent tire but I feel like LM005 was a bit more focus, bit stiffer.

excellent grip on snow and ice , better grip than blizzaks 5 when cornering . tried them in moutain roads by -12 degrees C , going uphill (10%) on 5cm snow: no problem. I used Konig chains in 20cm snow because the snow plow hadn't cleared the way ...
