Despite moderate driving and an average consumption of 15 kWh in hilly terrain, the tyres went from 6.5 to 4.1 mm in one season. They feel vague in the wet. I'll replace them in the spring. No comparison with the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 on our MHEV.

Continental EU label data
67 of the 131 tyres on record carry EU label data. These are the range's label headliners, using each tyre's best available size figures.
A Best wet grip
27 tyres reach EU wet grip class A. The highest scoring:
A Lowest rolling resistance
The most fuel efficient choice: 20 tyres reach rolling resistance class A. The highest scoring:
67dB Quietest tyres
The quietest tyres in the range are labelled from 67 dB external noise:
Label values come from the EU EPREL database and vary by size - the figures here are each tyre's best declared size. Wet grip and rolling resistance run from class A (best) to E; noise is the measured drive-by figure. A good label is a floor, not a verdict: the tests and rankings above tell you far more.
New Continental tyres
The newest arrival in the range is the Continental Vancontact Eco 2. 2 tyres have joined in the last two years:
| Tyre | Season | On the market since | TR Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Continental Vancontact Eco 2 | Summer | 2026 | not yet scored |
| Continental CrossContact AT2 | All Season | 2025 | not yet scored |
New tyres take time to earn a TR Score - tests have to be run and owner reviews have to arrive. A missing score is a data gap, not a verdict.

The most recent reviews, in their own words
The tires were fitted from factory. Poor experience from the start. Low levels of traction in acceleration and braking, below average overall handling and poor overall performance in rain and not so comfortable. I cannot say if they economical or not before I fit another set of tires on this car.
One thing that has particularly puzzled me on these tires is they loose pressure frequently. All tires. Will never buy them again or recommend them.
I used these as autocross and street tires on my C7 Z06 Corvette for two years. They wore exceptionally well and really had plenty if treadlife remaining when I took them off. Truly an excellent endurance tire that was ok-enough on the street to be your every day tire, though I would definitely avoid standing water if at all possible. I only swapped mine out because I wanted to be closer to the sharp end of my autocross events. The ECFs were good enough to to be mid-pack at local events and I would highly recommend them for an entry level driver or someone who is budget conscious and needs to get more than just one season out of a set of tires.
After 25,000 miles, 4 years and some rotations, I am down to 3mm. I will be fitting these tyres again soon (unless there is something superior available) they have been superb in all conditions and have an abundance of grip when pushed. Life and and fuel economy have been just fine, and price was very reasonable for an premium UUHP tyre. They saved me from an accident due to the class leasing short stopping distance 100%, having the best tyre and highest grip possible is invaluable.
Comfortable compared to my previous tires, very good rolling resistence. Dry grip accetable, not impresie, feel safe on the wet (i have not push them on wet yet?
A very capable tire that in bad weather never left me feeling worried that I was not going to make it through. Bad snow was very capable. Heavy downpour very capable. Long loaded up highway mile trips the tire never complained. I have put that tire into snow storms it never should have been in. I am considered an essential worker. What impressed me was that I made it home when I knew I exceeded what a highway tire should have been in. It is for that reason only I will be choosing a new tire with an on road focused AT with 3pmsf rating
