Continental IceContact 8
Replaces the Continental IceContact 3
The IceContact 8 is Continental's studded winter tyre for Nordic conditions, announced in January 2026 and replacing the IceContact 3. It uses two different stud types, one aimed at traction under acceleration and braking and one at cornering, and Continental say a chemical bond between the stud and the surrounding rubber cuts stud movement and stud loss over the tyre's life.
