UTQG treadwear is relative: a tyre graded 400 lasted four times as long as the reference tyre, graded 100, on the government test course. Continental backs it with a 70,000-mile limited treadwear warranty (35,000 miles on the rear of a staggered fitment).

Recently chose them as I wanted a set that is quiet and smooth as the car is noisy. I was willing to give up some handling which I did as they are single ply sidewalls. They are made in the USA and all-season which I will test this winter. A road force balancer was used with factory rims; no vibration with nice feedback.
