Performance Analysis
Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.
The Antares Ingens A1 finished near the back in its only independent test, the 2021 Auto Bild 53 Summer Tyre Braking Test in 205/55 R16. It placed 50th of 53 overall. Dry braking was 52nd at 39.8 m, 16.7% longer than the best, while wet braking was 46th at 39.5 m, a 33.4% gap. Both surfaces were weaknesses, with the larger proportional stopping-distance deficit in the wet despite the better placing.
This is a braking assessment only, so it establishes no offsetting strength in handling, aquaplaning resistance, comfort, wear or efficiency. With one test and two measured disciplines, it also cannot establish whether performance varies between sizes or later comparisons.
