Performance Analysis

Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.

The Continental ContiVanContact 200 finished fifth of 16 in its only independent comparison, the 2019 ADAC van tyre test in 215/65 R16 C. Very low fuel consumption was the clear positive in ADAC's verdict. That above-midfield overall result came with qualifications: the testers described it as weak in the dry and slightly weak in the wet.

The placing therefore should not be read as evidence of equally strong grip on both surfaces. These judgements concern other cargo and commercial tyres, and there are no separate braking distances, handling results or margins to show which disciplines caused the criticism. The test also offers no wear or refinement verdict. One comparison establishes a qualified efficiency benefit, rather than repeated evidence of balanced performance across sizes and years.
