The Falken Euroall Season AS220's clearest advantage is projected running cost. Auto Bild's full 2026 test placed it first of 15 for projected tread life at 78,200 km, lowest cost per kilometre and least abrasion, helping it to joint seventh overall with a good rating. Dry braking earned praise in both full tests: seventh of 30 in Auto Bild's braking qualifier and fifth of ten in Auto Express's measured results. Its weaker pattern is wet handling and aquaplaning. Auto Bild recorded the slowest wet circle of 17 tyres and 15th in wet handling, while Auto Express placed it eighth of ten for wet handling and both aquaplaning disciplines.
Auto Express finished it sixth of eight overall, praising easy, predictable behaviour and low cabin noise. Its fourth-of-ten measured dry handling result was unusually favourable beside 12th of 17 in Auto Bild, whose testers also found snow performance below average. Auto Express's snow braking was closer to best at 3% behind, compared with 12.8% in Auto Bild. That variation prevents a clear snow-strength claim. Auto Bild also recorded relatively high rolling resistance and a 12th-of-15 comfort score, so the wear-based cost advantage does not imply low fuel use or a particularly soft ride.
