Performance Analysis
Drawn from 2 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.
Wet braking is consistently near the bottom of the field for the Momo North Pole W2 in two Auto Bild winter comparisons. In the 2023 54 set braking test, in 225/45 R18, it finished 53rd of 54, with a 42.8 m stop that was 36.3% longer than the best.
The 2020 winter market overview in 245/45 R18 showed the same limitation: 49th of 51 overall, with wet braking 47th of 49 measured tyres at 41.7 m, 37.6% longer than the best. The sizes differ, so the absolute distances do not establish a change over time, but the relative gaps and low placings agree. There are no snow, dry-road, comfort or wear results here from which to identify an offsetting strength.
