Performance Analysis
Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.
The Nexen Roadian CT8 presents a clear trade-off in its only independent test: low fuel consumption and good dry-road performance, but weak wet performance and relatively high wear. It finished 12th of 16 in the 2019 ADAC van tyre test in 215/65 R16 C. ADAC awarded top marks for fuel consumption and described it as good in the dry, while calling it very weak in the wet.
This comparison was against other cargo and commercial tyres, so those judgements concern its own van-tyre field. The fuel-consumption result does not cancel out the wet-weather weakness or the wear criticism. With no separate braking distances, handling results or wear figures, and only one test, there is no basis for a more detailed ranking of those disciplines or a claim of repeated consistency.
