These tyres came OEM fitted to my R9. On a dry, warm day, they provide reasonable grip and feedback. The carcass is hard and so comfort is clearly a second thought.
In the wet and/or cold, these tyres are dreadful. The bike has a much higher tolerance for bends and leaning that these tyres permit in the dry. In the cold grip all but disappears until the tyres are very warm. They are prone to very sudden and unexpected loss of traction, with no warning beforehand, in both wet and warm conditions, and cold conditions generally.
Overall, I won’t be refitting these tyres and am likely to change them well before they reach their wear limit just to bring me confidence in the bike.
