Performance Analysis

Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.

The Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate finished second of seven and was highly recommended in the 2020 Tyre Reviews UHP All Season Tyre Test. Dry handling was its clearest strength, with the quickest lap and the highest subjective score. Wet performance was also competitive: braking ranked third, just 1% behind the best, and handling third, only 0.1% behind. The testers liked its sporty behaviour on both surfaces, combined with comfort and low noise, each ranked second of seven. They also considered it well priced.

Dry braking was the main criticism in the written verdict, ranking fifth of seven and 4.5% behind the best despite the strong handling results. Snow performance was less convincing than its overall placing might suggest: braking was sixth, 20.5% behind the best, while traction and handling were both fifth. These results favour its road handling and refinement more than its winter capability within the UHP all-season class. With only one independent test, there is no wider test pattern to confirm how consistently it repeats that balance across sizes or conditions.
