Performance Analysis
Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV's single independent result favours road use, especially dry handling and noise. In Auto Bild's 2020 SUV 4x4 Summer Tyre Test it finished fourth of ten in 255/55 R18, leading dry handling and recording the lowest noise at 69.9 dB. Dry braking was third, with a 34.1 m stop, 2.7% behind the best. Wet braking and handling were also third, at 6.5% and 2.3% from the best respectively. The testers praised precise steering, dynamic dry handling and good comfort, making the road results more balanced than the overall placing alone suggests.
Efficiency and some loose-surface results were weaker. Rolling resistance was eighth of ten, 24% above the lowest, and straight aquaplaning resistance was seventh. Gravel traction was competitive at third, just 0.7% from the best, but gravel handling and mud traction were seventh and grass traction eighth. Auto Bild specifically noted average grass traction. This establishes a useful road-focused result in one size, with more limited support for off-road use; it does not establish a wider pattern of wear, ageing or performance across other tests.
