Initial Impressions Review
Given 85% while driving a Kia Motors Sportage Full Hybrid (235/55 R18) on for 1,000 miles
I have made a lot of research before opting in to Hankook ion icept tyres. Although there is not much information available for these yet, the "engineering" concept Hankook explains in their website and the good reviews about the evo3 allowed me to take the risk. Now that they are mounted on my car, I am very happy that I made this decision. The EV readiness has its advantages over "regular" winter tyres like quite ride and good feedback and handling, as the sidewall is rigid and the contact surface is more stable. The winter tyres I used until now had kind of spongy feeling compared to the summer tyres because of their softness, which is absolutely not present with the ions. The compromise, if any, is slight reduction in ride comfort against the sporty feeling, which I welcome. And boy! these are very quiet! On wet roads, the aquaplanning performance is very good and provides confidence. I have also used these under snowy conditions and even pulled a caravan. I must say that the snow grip is very solid, mature and predictible. I drove on the mountain roads fully covered with snow and on fresh snow, the grip is awesome. Almost no slipping. On ice, however, the grip is low, but this is something to be expected on a non-studded winter tyre. Heavily recommend this!

Initial Impressions Review
Given 86% while driving a Volkswagen ID.7 (255/45 R19) on mostly motorways for 2,500 easy going miles
Recently got this set of tyres on my VW ID.7 tourer for skiing holiday. Having ridden approximately 2000 km, and now several 100 km in super snowy Dutch conditions, I can clearly state that I am thrilled about the tyre. Comfort/sound compared to summer tyre is similar - the acoustic foam clearly has a huge impact. The ride remains comfy, not super direct, but safe and builds trust. Even on steep mountain roads to the resorts at -10 degrees Celsius, the tyres perform well. They have never let me down during this time. Finally, a few bits of snow were manageable, but hard to give a proper opinion about it. I can definitely recommend the tyre for heavier EVs (not to mention efficiency - seems good for now!)
