2026 Tire Rack Streetable Track Tyre Test
The Hoosier TrackAttack Pro sits between two categories and drove like it. On a cool track it was the second quickest tyre, both over a single lap and across a session, and it felt good doing it: braking and turn-in were consistent and predictable, there was clear traction underneath, and it was willing to rotate. The difficulty was sustaining that. Within a handful of laps the heat caught up, the front left in particular started to saturate through the longer corners, and the afternoon session dropped it to the slowest of the three. Steering response held up better than the grip did, so it still felt sharp while quietly asking to be driven more gently. Tread loss was fairly even, though the outer shoulder and the rib edges gave up more than the rest. It is a strong choice for autocross or a single quick lap, and a harder one to recommend for sustained track-day running.
