Performance Analysis

Michelin CrossClimate 3 - Official Image

Michelin's CrossClimate 3 shows a split personality: outstanding, class-leading snow performance and strong efficiency/comfort, but only mid-pack to weak results in wet and dry performance versus leading all-season and summer rivals. Across five tests it averaged 5.2 overall with one Highly Recommended award, shining particularly in traction and control on snow while also delivering good rolling resistance and wear. However, multiple datasets reveal meaningful deficits in wet braking/handling and dry braking/handling, especially in the demanding 225/40 R18 comparisons.
