Performance Analysis

Drawn from 2 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.

The Vredestein Pinza AT's clearest strengths are road comfort, low noise and competitive braking. Tire Rack's 2024 all-terrain on-road test placed it first of 12 for subjective comfort and noise, third for both dry and wet braking, and fourth on the wet handling course. Drivers found it composed and effective in the emergency lane change, helping it to second overall. Its dry stop was 5.6% longer than best and its wet stop 7.6% longer, so the strong placings did not mean class-leading stopping distances.

Snow and ice results need more distinction than its second-place snow rating alone suggests. In Tire Rack's 2026 snow comparison, it was fifth of 30 for traction and second for subjective snow handling, but 14th for snow braking. Ice braking was 12th and ice traction 27th, the latter a clear weakness. The 2024 snow lap was only ninth of 12 even though drivers found it balanced and easy to control, so the favourable feel did not imply fast snow cornering. Wet-track comments also noted occasional difficulty putting power down, delayed steering response and some rear slip. The results support comfortable road use and useful snow acceleration more clearly than ice traction or uniformly strong winter stopping.
