Performance Analysis

BFGoodrich All Terrain TA KO3 - Official Image

Across three 2025 all-season all-terrain comparisons, the BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO3 shows a clear pattern of strong real-world livability (comfort and noise) combined with competitive off-road/dirt capability and standout snow traction. It achieved 1st of 3 in a mixed on-road/off-road comparison and was consistently near the top in subjective refinement, reinforcing its “benchmark” positioning for daily driving comfort in an A/T segment.

Its main limitation is winter performance on ice: while it can launch and pull well in snow (including the fastest snow traction time), it struggles to generate grip on ice for braking and acceleration and is also weaker in sustained lateral grip on snow (snow circle). This creates a split winter profile-excellent forward traction in snow, but reduced confidence on ice and in some cornering scenarios-contributing to a mid-pack 4th of 6 finish in the dedicated winter A/T test despite receiving a Recommended award.
