The Pirelli Powergy has one independent test on record, so there is not yet a pattern across different conditions or test fields. In the 2026 Autozurnal Eco Summer Tyre Test, it finished fifth of ten, with its best results in noise and handling. It was the quietest tyre at 71.4 dB, while its wet handling lap was second fastest, 3.2% behind the best. It also took third on the wet circle, 1.8% off the best, and third in subjective dry handling. Autozurnal praised its strong, reliable grip and its low exterior noise. The tyre was the test's reference and no award was recorded.

The exception was aquaplaning in bends: it finished eighth of ten, with a result 19.1% below the best, which the testers highlighted as a weakness. That contrasted with fourth place in straight-line aquaplaning. Braking was less distinctive than handling, with fourth in the dry and fifth in the wet; the wet stopping distance was 49.4 metres, 4.7% longer than the best in the 2026 Autozurnal test. Rolling resistance was also fifth and 24.4% higher than the best, although energy consumption was only 3.7% higher. Subjective comfort was a positive exception to the middling overall result, placing second.
