Bought these for my Ford Ranger based in the UK. Early days but so far excellent grip on dry and wet roads, no aquaplaning in heavy rain. Have noticed on mud im able to move along in 2WD whereas on the OEM Continental tyres I would have to select 4WD. Performance in light wet snow on UK roads has been excellent. Waiting for heavy snow to assess further. Slight rumbling from tread pattern at ~28mph but you have to really listen for it. Otherwise completely on par noise wise with previous conti tyres. Highway speed any tyre noise is overridden by wind noise from mirrors. Ride comfort is... Continue reading this review using the link below

Best Review for the General Grabber AT3
Given 97% 225/45 R17 on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
I use these both on and off the road. No really heavy off roading but up a lot of farm tracks and across grass. fields. I had Bridgestone Dueller ht684 but were not impressed with them. As soon as the Grabber AT3 were fitted the car was a lot more responsive, but above all they are a lot quieter and makes for a lot more comfortable ride on the road. I ran the Bridgestone's at 26psi as per the handbook but I run the Grabber's at 36psi as per tyre fitter recomendation. I am getting an extra 2-3 mpg since fitting these tyres.

Footnote

This page has been developed using tyre industry testing best practices. This means we are only comparing tests which have had both tyres in the same test.

Why is this important? Tyre testing is heavily affected by things like surface grip levels and surface temperature, which means you can only compare values from the same day. During a tyre test external condition changes are calculated into the overall results, but it is not possible to calculate this between tyre tests performed on different days or at different locations.

As a result you will see other tests on Tyre Reviews which feature both the %s and %s, but as they weren't conducted on the same day, the results are not comparable.

Lots of other websites do this sort of tyre comparison, Tyre Reviews doesn't.
