Got these for the front of my lowered classic VW beetle 1973acpehrson strut suspension.
Was sceptical at first as never had Avon.
However I happened to take a roundabout way too fast in the wet, very heavy rain as well, the grip of these tyres when pushed was fantastic. The back end which has Dunlop went out sideways but the front responded to each turn of the steering wheel to compensate and did not slide in doing so stopping the skid. They saved my life. Also in the dry I have noticed on the rare occasions. That corners can be taken 5 mph faster than with other brands.
