Firemax FM601 rated 27% while driving a Opel corsa b 160is
Driving on mostly country roads for 1000 miles
I have the firemax 195/50/15.
Very soft everything puncture the tyre.
On the wet road it doesn't grip

Falken ZIEX ZE310 EcoRun rated 75% while driving a Ford Fiesta
Driving on mostly town for 600 spirited miles
I bought these to replace the generic Chinese tyres that came with my Fiesta Mk8 when I bought it. Those old ones caused a few oversteer moments when joining the motorway, so I decided it was time for a change. The first impression after switching was that the oversteer issues disappeared, and all four wheels now feel much more planted, at least in dry and hot conditions.

Front-end grip is good and gives a clear sense of what the car is doing. You can easily tell whether you still have traction or are starting to lose it. Braking performance is also decent, with quick and predictable reactions. Ride comfort has improved noticeably too, with a softer response over sharp-edged potholes.

Given the price and the tyres they replaced, this might sound like a very positive review. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend these as a first choice for a powerful or performance-oriented car, but if you’re looking for a solid, economical tyre for a ten-year-old city car that mostly drives in dry, warm conditions, these Falkens are a pretty good option.

Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08RS rated 80% while driving a Toyota Corolla
Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 spirited miles
Like most people here. I came to complain that these set of tires are nowhere near the good old 08R.

However I find myself in love with this. I mostly spirited driving my shitbox with 4-5 trackday session per year. It suit me and my skill level so well. After about 3 trackday session. I still have somewhat 5-6 mm tread left. And i live in a very hot & humid region (avg 30c and maximum 42c max in summer with avg humidity 65-70%). It can tolerate extreme heat on track so well but trade off for a lot of hardcore dry grip lost on track that i get used to get on 08R. Wet grip also improved a bit too when compare to the 08R.

Long story short, it’s decent but not as good as the old 08R. Last longer, harder compound and tolerate the heat more than 08R.

Buy again? For me, Yes. It suit my usage. But if you’re looking for hardcore track performance and living in colder climate. I think A052 is the one to go (for 15” size)

Bridgestone Turanza T005 rated 81% while driving a Mitsubishi Colt
Driving on a combination of roads for 65000 spirited miles
I had those tyres on my mitsubishi colt 2011 1.3 for about 4 years (Nov 2021- Sep 2025) and for about 106k kilometers on. In Greece all year around. They are exceptionally good in the wet, extremely long lasting, more than decent on dry roads - though not impressive imo, better fuel economy compared to previous hankooks i had on, noise and comfort isn't the best though. All in all, it's a very good tyre, I would 100% recommend it to the average commuter with a little bit drawback on noise and comfort, for the spirited driver it's still highly recommended, though dry grip and feedback could be better imo. A very good tyre by Bridgestone, a total value for money, considering how long those tyres lasted. After 40-50k kilometers, grip started fading, but in wet it was still there till the very end, impressive wet tyre.

Continental UltraContact rated 67% while driving a Honda CIVIC 1.6 VTEC
Driving on a combination of roads for 32000 spirited miles
First and foremost, the tyre is not under any circumstances unpredictable. It is a well made, predictable tyre with quite "soft" sidewalls, however it makes the car feel 'push-y' and understeer-y. As far as wet performance is conserned, i did not like it, there were quite some times when i hydroplaned (however this also might be due to my current aggresive suspension setup, so i won't attribute it 100% on the tyre). I would say is a very well made, all-around tyre and at its price range, is a perfect choice for some daily commute vehicles.

Yokohama BluEarth Es ES32 rated 90% while driving a Fiat 500
Driving on mostly town for 10000 average miles
Love thee tyres - very well suited to Fiat 500 Sport, in 195/50/15 (rather than the factory 185/55/15). Super quiet, great handling wet and dry. Wear rates seem to be fine but car doesnt do huge mileage . Replaced Pirelli P6 and far better tyre - complete over 10k miles on front pair, no issues and only half worn which given a lot of town driving with junctions and roundabouts thats good in my book. Just put a matching pair on the rear axle so happy days

Nexen N Blue 4Season 2 rated 91% while driving a Skoda 2002 Fabia 1.4 estate
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 average miles
My first all-season tyres, have them fitted for just over a month but apart snow and ice I have already tested them in almost any environment they would appear in (hot, dry and dusty summer, grease after short shower, torrential rain, "normal" dry and wet roads, cold mornings etc.). First impressions: quietest tyres I have had in the past ten years, at least of those fitted on this particular car (Bridgestone ER300, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance, Nokian Wetproof, Nokian WR D3, Continental TS 860), also lowest fuel consumption.

Handling and safety: I would compare them to both Goodyears and Nokians when those were new in terms of traction and breaking distances in dry or wet conditions; although I would say that both summer tyres had better traction in torrential rain and standing water (I'm not going to break any speed records in those conditions so I don't mind). It might seem to be a strong statement but keep in mind that this is a recent model whereas those summer tyres are quite old but stll sold as new (almost all manufacturers stopped introducing newer models for smaller cars so it is an absolutely valid comparison).

I am not going to expect how long they are going to last and actually I don't care. The winter Continentals are still pefectly OK even after nine years without any signs of deterioration but the Goodyears became dangerous after their third season (cca 20.000 km) and had to go with 6 mm of tread left. Nokians were better, after five years of use and cca 25.000 km they only started showing first signs of losing their original grip at the moment they were replaced (punctured sidewall by a sharp object on two of them). So if I replace them after five years and some 35.000 km because they have worn out without losing grip, I would be absolutely satisfied.

Hankook Ventus Prime2 rated 95% while driving a Renault twingo
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
Put used, DOT16 Ventus Primes on my 2002 Renault Twingo 16v, went from 155/65R14 to 195/50R15, did like 500km on them and am super happy... Extremely soft tire, it's more comfortable than the 155/65R15's, the handling is superb, road feedback is amazing and the noise is actually mind-blowing at how quiet they are...

Bought them used for 60 eur, amazing condition with 6.5mm tread.

Uniroyal RainSport 5 rated 70% while driving a Ford Fiesta mk7
Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 average miles
I am in the middle of my second season with these tires, so I have my first conclusions. The tires, despite their name, are not sports tires. They are definitely soft and comfortable tires, guaranteeing very high safety on wet surfaces and sufficient on dry surfaces. In my case, tire wear is 1 mm per 8 thousand km traveled. Depending on the mileage, it is worth answering whether this is a lot or little for us. Compared to my previous Firestone Roadhawk, comfort and noise have significantly improved at the expense of wear and handling.

tire offered very good dry grip and precise cornering that is not expected from a tire in this price range... overall handling was very very good... maybe even better than the Kumho Ecsta range (PS31 & KU31 & HS51) i had before

Driving on mostly town for 20000 spirited miles
Been using this tyre for about 2 years. This is a well balance tyre for my car's daily/spirited setup. Mostly downtown commute and once or twice a month burning the carbon they say. Front -2.5 camber and -1 camber for rear. FWD and about 1.3Tons.

Great traction for high speed corners with mid bumps (highway expansion joints), abit lackluster in hard trailbraking. Tyres are easy to regain traction if you jump midway through the bends. Yes I've jumped multiple times during mid corner and tyres pick traction back up predictably. Please do bear in mind my daily commute is also like a race track XD. Surprisingly well behaved during wet as well. The tyres will provide a little vibration tingling through your steering when its about to lose traction. That's what I felt on these tyres weirdly. My other previous tyres didn't. Easy to control during understeer. Good breaking during dry. Tyres are noisier than Advan Fleva so do keep that in mind. If you're on a budget, you won't be disappointed in them. Just don't expect them to be like proper UUHP or better than Advan Fleva(10% better overall). I would buy this again no doubt if I'm on a tight budget.
