UTQG treadwear is relative: a tyre graded 400 lasted four times as long as the reference tyre, graded 100, on the government test course. Bridgestone backs it with a 50,000-mile limited treadwear warranty (25,000 miles on the rear of a staggered fitment). New, it has 10/32" (7.9 mm) of tread.

Very quiet, soft and comfortable ride, seems to handle very well over the first 800 miles. I am shocked that they are so inefficient however. My 2018 AWD Model S has averaged 266Wh/mile for the first 3 sets of tires over 90,000 miles. So far the Turanza EV is averaging 281Wh/mile, a loss of range of about 11%. The only way they can make up for that loss is to last longer than the 30,000 miles the previous tires have lasted. I hope they do.
