Electric Vehicle Summer

The Powerproof E is Nokian's efficiency-led premium summer tyre, announced in September 2026 for the 2027 season in Central and Southern Europe. It sits alongside the more performance-oriented Powerproof 2 rather than replacing it, and carries an Electric Fit marking on the sidewall for electric and hybrid cars. Nokian rate every size at A for rolling resistance, wet grip and external rolling noise, and pair an Aramid-reinforced sidewall from 17 inches upwards with their SilentDrive noise treatment on a limited selection of sizes. Nineteen sizes cover 16 to 20 inch wheels at launch, all of them extra load.
