Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Top 3 Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II Reviews

Given 93% while driving a BMW S1000XR 2018 (190/55 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 1,800 spirited miles
Nice and grippy tire with a qick turn in, great feel and super sticky rubber that´s heting up fast. Down side- it was not lasting very long- was on the cord of the tyre after about1800miles.

Given 93% while driving a Triumph Daytona 675 (180/55 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 2,500 spirited miles
Great tyres in all aspects. Ride in all conditions in Sweden and haven't had any issues with them. Two trackdays done with them (warm and dry circuit) and they will last one or two more for sure.

Given 94% while driving a Ducati Panigale V2 (180/60 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Done nearly 5000 miles with these throughout spring and summer, excellent in every way, they inspire confidence in the dry and are surprisingly grippy in the wet. They’ve lasted longer than a previously tested set of Michelin Power RS with equivalent performance. I’d put the Michelins on for a long road trip approximately halfway through the life of the Corsa 2s then switched back after about 3800 miles and the Corsa 2s felt better. My new set will be the Corsa 2.

Given 81% while driving a Aprilia Tuono 1100RR (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 2,500 spirited miles
Great tyre, good grip in wet and phenomenal in dry when fully warmed up.Real drawback is wear, I did basically same mileage as on SC V2 I had previously and that's about 2,5k ...time for burnout :)
