Kawasaki (190/50 R17) on for 3,000 miles
Yyre came as OE on my Z1000sx. These are by far the worst tyre i have had on s bike for a very long time. No confidence in them at all other than when the bike is being ridden in a straight line except when crossing white lines, then it shakes its head and weaves all over the place.. In the dry I've had the rear lose traction while cornering on more than one occasion Heaven knows how bad they are in the wet. Fortunately I'm a fair weather biker nowadays so haven't had that experience. The rear only lasted 3000 miles. 2999 too many but hey I'm not wasting rubber. Front faired a little better. I'm hating my new bike at the moment and really hope once I've got better tyres on it things will improve. Sadly not these S20rs. Dreadful, dreadful tyre.

Given 13% while driving a VW Polo 6R 1.6 TDI Bluemotion (190/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 3,500 average miles
These came with my early 19 Kawasaki Z1000SX. These are without a doubt the worst tyres I’ve ever experienced. Unless the road is burning hot and totally smooth you can’t get them warm enough at sensible riding sprees to grip with any level of confidence. Riding in the wet is to be avoided at all costs. Even gentle Leaning in the wet makes the rear slip and twitch. Changing them out at 3.5K. The rear has badly squared off.

good all round tyre, I had the s20 evo too which are supposed to be a little bit better. Did 2 track days without any issues, i get around 3-3.5k from a rear tyre. cant comment on wet as fair weather rider. another good point is the tyre does not really turn square.

Given 37% while driving a Yamaha R1 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Worst expirience with tyres ever on my Yamaha R1. Just got it back from repairs and the new tyres were fitted(Bridgestone front and rear). It took me a while to switch from my Yamaha R6 to the good old R1 and initially I thought this was the issue. Nop. 3500km later I have to admit it actually IS the tyres, especially the rear one.

Warm up time? What? 2-3 minutes of normal driving?!? Or 1 minute of brake-accelerate and left-right sweeping? And guess - you have to do it every time. When you forget to do it, they feel like a plastic, slipping you on the road like you are some kind of a noobie.

Fast turns. What? You don`t like living any more? Try it with this tyres. Especially trail braking tech. Slips you gently when you open the throttle on the exit of the turn.

Slow turns. You want to go 50-60kph and drop a knee? Yeah, sure, good luck. At 40 deg lean you have a 50/50 chance that the rear tyre will slide for a nanosecond, then find grip again and try to highside you. On my favourite 28km route(mountain climb) I got at least 10 of those situations, even thou I am expecting such bullsh*t from the rear tyre.

Highway? Ooooh, you gotta be joking. Pure unstability at 280+. Okey, they are rated for up to 270. Well, guess what, other brands rated for up to 270 don`t have problems at 270, 280, 290 or 300. But this one has. After 130km of highway riding(avg, 200+km/h, ranging 160-300)? Center of the tyre was eaten up.

Mileage. Oh, yeah. This brings us to the mileage. At 1000km the wear started to feel. At 2000km it was already clear that this tyre was a goner. And I was still wondering if there was something wrong with the bike, or it was the tyres.

Feedback? None. You can never tell what the hell is happening and get any idea what to do until it is too late and:
- Option A, rear slips
- Option B, you feel f*cked, that you could go faster on the corner

Dudes, getting owned by a Yamaha VMAX in a 28km chase(by 10 seconds ahead) should give you an indication what tyres are these! We should just say that he was not a Bridgestone fan and I was giving it everything I had(which may seem as little, but... no, I never got passed by a VMAX before in my life).

Now I switched to another brand. And the bike stays... how to say it - it never felt better in my hands.

I have to admit one thing - for such a terrible tyre it was performing unexpetedly well in wet. Having in mind that it was probably a bad tyre choice I did not push the bike over 11 000rpm at any gear during light rains or wet conditions. Barely had a slip, all under control.

Thanks for not killing me, Bridgestone. Thanks for ruining my summer for the R1. Thanks for giving me a horrible 3000-3500km ride expirience - now I know what a tyre should NOT do.

The front tyre needs alot of work to come up to temperature. Once tyres were hot on very twisty roads they are superb.

Cold or just warm they dont feel good.

Wear not great. 2.5k miles they are at end of life.

These were the factory fit tyres on my Kawasaki Z1000sx...

They were grippy on a warm summer day with decent tarmac, not so much in less than ideal conditions. They lasted less than 3000 miles and squared off really quickly with just a couple of motorway runs. When squaring in these tyres they felt really unstable, almost wobbly!

Avoid unless you do a lot of spirited riding on good winding tarmac :)

These tyres came with my bike. Awful grip in the wet, no stability in corners, awful in the cold, no ability to track a line through a corner. From day 1 until the end or the tyres the bike just drifted off cornering lines. Horrendous experience with them. In the 3 months they lasted they put my life at risk more times than I can comfortably recount. I ride every day, these tyres did not even finish a winter. Tyres went bald on the front within 3000 miles. Back lasted a little better. Profile of tyre is horribly pointy, leaning in for corners feels like you have 2 positions - upright and falling over. No control or confidence in the tyres ability in any weather condition. Even with traction control at highest level these tyres span and lost grip daily with only sensible computing levels of acceleration. Do not buy or use these tyres. The worst feeling tyres I have ever come across. Not only did the front tyre go bald but it actually went totally flat for no reason. No puncture no damage, it just wore itself down and gave up.

These tyres came as OE on a new 2016 ZZR 1400, they are an excellent all round tyre, Very good in the dry and okay in the wet, they give the rider confidence, I will be purchasing the same tyres on the next set, the only down side is the wear, they wear out very quickly, barely 2000 miles on the rear and it's nearly done.

Honda CBR1000RR10 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 2,500 spirited miles
I have had a couple of sets of these on my '08 CBR1000RR and they provide awesome grip on track and on road. At full lean with the foot pegs scraping i still feel confident once they are warmed up. A little throttle sensitivity is required in wet/very cold conditions but no more than normal.

With mainly road riding with the occasional track day they will do about 4000km. If you take them on the motorway the centers will be gone in no time at all.

Given 88% while driving a Kawasaki ZZR1400 (225/55 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,800 spirited miles
2200 (s)miles Inc running bike in. Fantastic fast road tyre. Gives so much confidence. Handles the extreme torque of the ZZR14 with ease. Expensive tyre but worth every penny. Have replaced with the same.

I have had these tyres since the bike (ZZR1400 2013)was new a year ago. Have now covered 3740 miles, this has included running in period and touring France with some very aggressive riding. Both hero bobs on foot pegs have been ground away indicating level of grip when riding through bends (Love the Napoleon way awesome). I am now going to buy my second pair (always replace front with rear).

Brilliant tyre if you can afford to replace them every 1000 miles.
My S20's are with Bridgestone as I complained that they were almost illegal after 1000 miles of use.
