When I bought these in 2009, supplies of winter tires were at an all-time low due to a Canadian law requiring all cars to have snow tires recently enacted. I bought whatever was still in stock (tracmax). They were decent in light snow for about 3 years. In heavy snow, they slide and slip as summer tires would. With only 20,000 miles, they have worn down to the wear bars. Deeply disappointed in overall quality. Going with a much better tire: General Altimax RT43 now.

I bought a BMW e46 3 Series with had these tyres as spares for the winter. When winter came I had a few scary moments on roads which were only a little damp. At normal road speeds these tyres DO NOT GRIP in the wet at all. They are dangerous and should not be sold.
