I had theese tyres when I bought my car and I can say that the're not so great. They do okay but for the price you can get way better tyres.

Nexen WinGuard Sport 2 rated 92% while driving a BMW 520d Tourer
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
These tyres have not scored that good in the tests I have read but I read various recommendations from owners, especially regarding driving dynamics. I was in urgent need for new winter tyres (nail in one of the old) so the recommendations together with a good price made me take a chance. And man I am glad I did! For me these tyres has been great. Not the best grip on hard acceleration or breaking, they are quite soft, but hey - these are winter tyres. We have not had a hard winter this year (I live in Sweden) but during the weeks of snow and ice, the grip has been surprisingly good. Good handling over all and really, really silent. Fantastic in wet, I do many hours on high speed highways every week and have felt really secure even in heavy rain and high speed. So all in all, I can truly recommend these tyres.

Viking Wintech rated 59% while driving a Fiat Punto Mk2b Sporting 1.4
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 average miles
After 3 seasons of using them, these tires are showing a lot of problems in areas that they were excellent at before. Although the wear of the tires is excellent, they are seriously lacking performance in wet and snow after 3 years of using them (only using them over winter months). Tires are hard as a rock now even though they have about 5.5mm depth still on the threads. Still, they never failed me so far unlike other brands that I used before, so for a budget tire, I am giving them huge thumbs up

Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 easy going miles
I bought my Tyfoon Eurosnow2 as second hand, and I honestly don’t know why anyone would want to upgrade. They’re excellent value for money, the wear is barely noticeable and they are quiet.

Triangle WinterX TW401 rated 58% while driving a Opel Astra G
Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 spirited miles
after ~7000km of use - stay away from snow. 95% of the time I were driving on snow less roads. Didnt have much snow this winter but I did buy these TRIANGLE WINTERX TW401 becouse they did show good result on wet/ice in 1 and only test I found. Yes, they were realy ok on these. I knew they wont be excelent with deep snow - and I guess it right, but still driveable. My guess - after 3000km they do lose his best rubber for snow preformance. Now on the dry and wet they still ok, (the wear of fronts is 3mm). There is no way I will swap axles for the next winter. Just - keep going all summer or buy summer tires. Dont use/buy it if u are a line to line quick changer. They have soft sidewalls. I was expecting stronger sidewalls as they are made for middle europe winters. I would recomend these tires for down side england or channel island weathers in winter.

Yokohama Geolandar G900 rated 84% while driving a Subaru Forester
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
I was very impressed by this tyre (G95 ~ G900) while i drove it in almost every terrain, load, driving style. Road, sand, mud, icy snow, rain, on the limit, fully loaded, peaceful cruise... I can say this is a great ALL rounder. Predictable, versatile, well-balanced (all that added to my 2011 Subaru Forester).

Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 rated 77% while driving a Audi A4 Quattro 1.9 TDI Avant
Driving on mostly country roads for 2500 spirited miles
Firstly these tires have a version with and without studs- I use them WITH studs as that is allowed here. Secondly, I have used these tires on my previous car also for about 25 000 kilometers Thirdly all my cars are Quattro so that may change some things. I have heard quite a lot of negative feedback about these but all from small front-wheel-drive car users, don't know anyone with an RWD car so can not comment on that. For me, these are really nicely controllable tires in snow and also on ice. I do not have any experience with premium category tires but to date, these are the best I have used. I'm quite an aggressive driver in winter and I love the control over both of my cars going sideways with these tires. Also, I have never had any unpredictable or uncontrollable situation with these not going straight or in corners. Any coming slippage can be felt in and corrections can be made in advance. The suds stay nicely in place (of course after running in tires correctly of course). In my other car after 25 000 kilometers, most of the studs are still in place, there are on a tire with 6 missing and that is the worst one. The thread also looks ok and I estimate that 30 - 40 thousand kilometers can be achieved if nothing suddenly changes in the performance later one. I'm not really sure that this will help anyone but if you use an all-wheel-drive car and studs are allowed in your region I suggest to trie them out as the price are quite good in my opinion.

Kleber Krisalp HP3 rated 74% while driving a Honda Civic
Driving on a combination of roads for 18750 average miles
I have these tyres for a 3rd winter season now, driven about 30k km. The wear is good, have a lot of thread left. As a winter tyres they perform good on dry and on wet, even while driving aggressive. They are comfortable and silent almost as an ordinary summer tyre. There is one issue about sound though - when the car goes between 90 and 100 km/h, there is that strange noise like a humming or roaring. Winter performance is average, on dry snow they perform OK, the grip is there, stopping is good. On ice and on wet snow/slush they perform below average. On sheer ice there is almost zero control. Same goes on slushy snow, especially on higher speeds - when you go on 80km/h and turn right, the car still goes forward. Thank goodness no accidents happened, but there were many dangerous situations on heavy winter weather, heavy snow in highway is a terrible experience with these tyres. These tyres are perfect for light and soft winter though. In conclusion: Would not buy again, because the weather in eastern Europe is very random - sometimes heavy winter, sometimes there is almost no snow. For soft winter I would recommend this tyre.
