General Grabber Cross AS

General Tyres All Terrain and Off Road All Season

The Grabber Cross A/S is an all-season tyre featuring a stiff tread combined with a cut and chip resistant rubber compound. It incorporates support elements between blocks for enhanced stiffness and even pressure distribution, allowing for precise steering response while maintaining high mileage capability. The tread design includes hexagonal blocks with biting edges and chamfered groove edges for off-road traction, while transverse and longitudinal sipes ensure grip on wet and snowy surfaces. The tyre carries both M+S marking and the snowflake symbol for winter capability, and is available in 44 sizes between 16 and 22 inches with speed ratings up to 149 mph. On the EU tyre label, it achieves a rolling resistance rating of C or D, wet grip rating of C, and rolling noise rating of B.

Initial Impressions Review
Given 91% while driving a Subaru Solterra (225/45 R17) on for 3,620 miles
These are all season tyres but they perform in Swiss Winter conditions absolutely perfect, especially on slippery slush and on salt
wet roads. On dry roads they are very silent and the side wall seams to be strong. I am driving a Subaru Solterra EV and these tyres
are matching perfectely the already very good 4wheel system of Subaru. Even on Ice these tyre are stopping like a good winter tyre.
These Grabber Cross AS are even better then my Falken Wildpeak AT3wa on my Toyota Hilux. I can highly recommend these tyres.

Given 87% while driving a Land Rover Range Rover L322 4.4 V8 (255/50 R20) on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
I have an l332 Range Rover v8. These tyres have been impressive from day one. All round grip is good and handling is firmer and more precise. Recent winter visit to the Alps highlighted that these tyres are not only excellent on a long tarmac journey but really good in snow and ice and gave me huge confidence throughout the trip. Previously used tyres were continentals. I thought they were good but not great with a lot of roll in corners. These Grabbers have changed and rectified this. All in all a very good set of tyres at a very reasonable cost.
