Performance Analysis
Drawn from 5 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.
The Giti AllSeason AS2 repeatedly combines short snow stops with long wet braking distances. Snow braking was third in Auto Bild's full 2024 test and the 2025 Sportscars comparison, then first of ten in Auto Zeitung 2026. Wet braking went the other way: 14th of 17, tenth of 12 and last of ten respectively, with the testers criticising stopping distances in all three. Aquaplaning resistance is another recurring positive, including first in curved aquaplaning in Sportscars 2025 and straight aquaplaning in Auto Zeitung 2026. Auto Bild's 2024 aquaplaning placings were unusually modest beside those later wins, despite favourable written comments.
Wear and running costs are less competitive. Projected life was 14th of 15 in Auto Bild 2024 and last of ten in Auto Zeitung 2026, with cost per kilometre in the same positions. The latter test found 29,250 km of projected life and criticised a price close to premium rivals. Handling also varies: Auto Bild's fifth-of-17 dry handling in 2024 was unusually good beside lower-field results in 2025 and 2026. Its positive wet handling assessment likewise did not recur in Auto Zeitung. Measured noise was a smaller positive, placing third of 17 in 2024 and second of ten in 2026. The stronger snow braking and standing-water results therefore come with wet stopping and wear compromises.

2026 Auto Zeitung All Season Tyre Test
The Giti AllSeason AS2 finished eighth. Its snow grip and aquaplaning resistance are real strengths, but its wet braking, wear and price mean it does not offer good value at current prices.
2025 Autobild Crossover SUV All Season Test
The Giti All Season AS 2 shows its strengths as a winter performer, achieving impressively short braking distances on snow-covered roads and excelling in curved aquaplaning resistance. However, the tyre struggles with extended wet braking distances and displays slightly imprecise handling characteristics on dry pavement. These inconsistencies across different conditions result in a satisfactory rather than good overall rating, despite the competitive pricing.
