Across 28 tests (almost entirely winter), the Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3 shows a clear pattern of premium, consistently front-running performance (average overall position 2.8) with multiple outright victories in major group tests. Its standout trait is confidence and speed on wet roads-often delivering class-leading wet braking/handling-while also remaining well-rounded in dry and snow for a Central European performance winter tyre.

Its main compromises are efficiency and extreme winter (ice) capability. Rolling resistance and fuel consumption are frequently mid-pack to poor (including last places), and ice braking/traction is regularly weaker than the best winter specialists.
