Haida HD921 Owner Reviews

Review this tyre

What owners say summarised from 41 reviews

Road noise and wet grip are the main concerns for owners of the Haida HD921, with noise criticised in around one in three reviews and wet grip in roughly three in ten. Dry grip is more often praised than criticised, and a few owners consider the low price good value. Overall opinion is unfavourable: 24 of 41 written reviews are negative, with an average score of 40.7%. Around one in seven reviews raises tyre damage or failure, including accounts of splits or delamination, which adds a durability reservation to the grip complaints. Noise changes over time are too mixed to establish a dependable ageing pattern.

Hi, this is the first time in 25 years of car ownership I've tried budget tyres, I bought a set of Haida for my Audi A7 Quattro, I've done about 6k miles on them and I have had no problems what so ever, they are a soft compound s they grip really well in the dry and the wet, and to be honest I am really pleased around with them and have been wondering why I spent all that money on pirellis and Michelins! the only thing i would say against them is that they are a little bit noisy than the average! but you don't hear it after i while only when they first go on.

The technology now available to tyre manufactures means that budget tyres now as as good as what where the premium brands 10-15 years ago, i don't remember having any trouble with my Michelins 10 years ago!!? the tyre brand thing is a myth ran by tyre depose trying to maximise profits, believe me. go out and Buy a good Chinese tyre like Haida or Keter that has passed iso9001 euro regulations and you won't look back. good luck Tom

these tires are ok if you are going to mount them on the horse wagon, or your grandmas car, otherwise it's a waste of money...

the grip is fine in the dry/wet weather, low noise up to 85mph, high noise above 85mph,

the tires would be ok except for one BIG PROBLEM: soft walls, which cause unstable ride! car wobbles unpredictably when hitting bumps at high speed and sways sideways when doing hard or rapid turns...

this is a major fail so other category ratings are meaningless, 1star tire, keep looking
