I have Yokohama Avid Ascend GT 235/40R19 96V XL tires on my 2017 Ford Fusion Sport. I put them on in February 2025, about a month after getting the car, and have driven roughly 27,000 miles since. The tires are already due for replacement.
Two are at 3/32" and two are at 4/32" which isn't the lowest tread depth, but it's pretty low with New England winter right around the corner. I have mixed city/highway driving and drive the car every day. Although I do occasionally drive in a spirited manner, I don't track this car.
Overall, they're just okay tires. They aren't terrible by any means, but they don't impress either. For about the first 10,000 miles they had a subtle humming noise that drove (haha) me nuts, but after this lengthy break-in period it's gotten much better. Otherwise, they've always been pretty comfortable and seem to provide good feedback. I can feel and hear what the tires are doing most of the time.
Naturally, dry and wet grip have worsened as the tires wear. Although dry grip is still adequate, wet grip is notably worse compared to even 5,000 miles ago. However, these aren't UHPAS or summer tires, so although they usually grip well enough, the maximum grip isn't quite as much as I'd like from a tire.
At the dry grip limit, or as close as I could get, they handle fine. When the car is settled in a turn and the limit is exceeded, they usually start to break traction in a gradual manner instead of suddenly losing it. Although my car understeers and front traction breaks sooner, the rear sometimes feels a little skittish and can be hard to anticipate, but this could be me and not the tires.
Since these tires won't see a second winter I don't have much to go on, but they did fine in the unexpectedly severe 2025 winter I experienced. They were able to handle thick slush and a couple inches of snow well enough, but only if driving very cautiously and easing the car through turns. Any excess speed resulted in a slide if the wheels were on any amount of snow.
The biggest disappointment for me is the tread life. These are 740 UTQG tires and have a 65,000 mile warranty, but they didn't even last half that long. Normally I would pursue the warranty, but I'd rather get better tires instead of dealing with all that hassle.
