Data updated
Which should you buy?
Choose the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 if you want the most consistent dry and wet braking performance and strong aquaplaning security, and snow is only occasional. Choose the Michelin CrossClimate 3 if regular snow capability and a generally more comfortable, refined feel matter most, and you can accept weaker wet braking in several tests.
Where the Turanza All Season 6 is stronger
- Consistently shorter dry and wet braking distances than the CrossClimate 3, including both Auto Bild braking qualifiers and the 2025 and 2026 Auto Bild all-season tests.
- Usually stronger aquaplaning safety, especially in curved aquaplaning (Auto Bild 2025 and 2026, Tyre Reviews 2026/27).
- Often scores well on objective efficiency and cost metrics in the magazine tests, including rolling resistance and value in Auto Bild 2026 and value in Auto Zeitung 2026.
Where the CrossClimate 3 is stronger
- Clear snow advantage in braking, traction and handling across every shared snow discipline, with double-digit gains in some Auto Bild results (2025 and 2026).
- Frequently rated quieter and more comfortable in subjective scoring (Auto Bild 2026, Auto Bild Allrad 2026, Die Reifentester 2026).
- Often better rolling resistance than the Bridgestone (Auto Bild 2025, Auto Express 2026, Tyre Reviews 2026/27, Die Reifentester 2026).
The bullet points are analysis of the shared tests and of owner reviews; the measured wins in each discipline are in the tables below. Where the two disagree, the figures are right.

Braking distances and lap times are better when lower; speeds, wear and grip figures when higher. A test's figures are its own: sizes, cars, surfaces and temperatures differ from one to the next, which is why the averages here are only ever of tests the two tyres shared. "Scored" rows are subjective driver ratings: each test uses its own scale, so only the wins are counted.

Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6
- 79%from 44 reviews
- 76%would buy again
- 393,509 milesdriven by reviewers
Owners broadly rate the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 as a very safe, summer-leaning all-season tyre, with a clear consensus around strong wet grip (mentioned by over half of reviewers) and similarly impressive dry grip. Snow traction is generally described as capable for occasional winter use, and around a third of owners also report encouraging tread life. The main drawbacks are feel and efficiency: around one in four owners complain of numb steering feedback and a similar share report higher rolling resistance/fuel consumption, while road noise is divisive with near-even praise and criticism.
- Very strong wet grip and confidence in heavy rain
- High dry grip that feels close to a summer tyre
- Capable snow traction for light to moderate winter conditions
- Good tread life for year-round use
- Numb steering feel and limited feedback near the limit
- Higher rolling resistance and a noticeable fuel economy hit for some
- Road noise can be intrusive on certain surfaces, despite others finding it quiet

All 44 Turanza All Season 6 reviewsNow nearly 2 years and 20k miles in. These tyres are still as good as they were new and tread has only dropped to 5-6mm all round, suggesting >40,000 miles a set which is more than the OE Pirelli P7 summer tyres managed. Have experienced winter slush and light snow without any grip issues, when the car felt stable and safe, but as I live on the south coast with regular trips to family in Yorkshire, they don’t need to be a dedicated winter tyre. Economy unchanged around 45mpg overall, 50mpg on a motorway run. For my use, these have been very impressive and I would be happy to replace them with another set, although there may be even better choices in 3 years when these should be just about done.
Michelin CrossClimate 3
- 82%from 12 reviews
- 75%would buy again
- 189,947 milesdriven by reviewers
Across nine reviews, the Michelin CrossClimate 3 is widely praised as a highly capable all-season tyre with standout comfort, low noise, and strong real-world grip in dry and wet conditions. Drivers also report impressive longevity/wear, with several noting confident handling and reassuring performance in winter climates and light-to-moderate snow. The main recurring limitation is traction and predictability on ice (and at the limit in heavier snow), where it cannot consistently match a dedicated winter tyre and may feel a bit comfort-biased rather than sporty.
- High ride comfort
- Low road noise/quiet on most surfaces
- Strong wet-road performance (grip and aquaplaning resistance)
- Good all-season versatility across wide temperature ranges
- Ice grip is only moderate and trails dedicated winter tyres
- Not a sporty tyre (softer feel/less sharp than summer performance tyres)
- Can feel less secure at the limit in heavier snow conditions

All 12 CrossClimate 3 reviewsWho is reading this review it should know that they are bad in wet condition. I tought that beacause is Michelin they will be great but they are not. In dry they are good but in wet they are losing traction and understeer very easy. I don’t have a powerfull car, is only 120hp. I will not buy this tyres again. There are better choices than Michelin at least in the segment of all season

Reading the results
Written from the test results and owner reviews above. It is analysis, not a measurement: where it and the tables disagree, the tables are right.
These two all-season tyres have been measured head to head in 10 independent comparisons: Auto Bild's all-season tests (2025 and 2026) plus its 30-tyre braking qualifiers (2025 and 2026), Auto Bild Allrad's 2026 SUV all-season test, Auto Zeitung's 2026 all-season test, Auto Express's 2026 all-season test, Tyre Reviews' 2026/27 all-season group test, Die Reifentester's 2026 test, and Tyre Reviews' 2025 CrossClimate 3 vs rivals test.
Across those shared tests the pattern is clear. The Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 repeatedly delivers shorter dry and wet braking and usually stronger aquaplaning security, while the Michelin CrossClimate 3 repeatedly dominates snow traction, braking and handling, and is often rated the more comfortable and refined tyre.
Overall placings reflect that split. Michelin more often finishes slightly higher in the mixed-score group tests, but Bridgestone's consistent braking advantage is big enough that it can outscore Michelin whenever wet safety is weighted heavily.
Conclusion
Looking across the shared tests, the Bridgestone's calling card is braking on real roads. It beats the CrossClimate 3 for dry braking in every shared result, typically by about 3 to 6% (for example in Auto Bild's 2025 and 2026 all-season tests, and both Auto Bild 30-tyre braking qualifiers). It does the same in wet braking, again in every shared result, with gaps that are sometimes meaningful, around 5 to 9% in Auto Express 2026 and Tyre Reviews' 2025 rival test, and still clearly in Bridgestone's favour in Auto Bild 2025 and 2026. It also tends to be the safer choice in deep water, leading curved aquaplaning in Auto Bild 2025 and 2026 and Tyre Reviews' 2026/27 test.
Where the picture flips is snow. Michelin wins every shared snow braking and traction result, often by a large margin, around 8 to 13% in Auto Bild 2025 and Auto Bild 2026, and it also leads snow handling and slalom whenever those are measured. Testers repeatedly describe the CrossClimate 3 as the snow specialist, even beating the winter reference in Auto Bild Allrad's 2026 SUV test and running close to winter-tyre levels in Auto Zeitung's 2026 test notes. Bridgestone is sometimes described as weak on snow (Auto Bild 2026, Tyre Reviews 2025 rival test), even though Auto Express 2026 found it still competitive there, just behind Michelin.
For comfort, noise and running costs it is mixed but with a lean to Michelin. Michelin is regularly quieter or better rated for comfort (Auto Bild 2026, Auto Bild Allrad 2026, Die Reifentester 2026), although Auto Express 2026 measured the Bridgestone as slightly quieter in-cabin. Rolling resistance also varies by test, but Michelin has the clearer run of wins, while the Bridgestone more consistently scores better in the 'value' calculations in the German magazine tests. Put simply, pick the Bridgestone if your priority is wet and dry stopping power and aquaplaning confidence, and pick the Michelin if you genuinely need strong snow performance and generally prefer a calmer, more comfortable tyre.
