Performance Analysis
Drawn from 6 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.
The Apollo Alnac 4G All Season usually finishes near the back, with wet braking a recurring weakness across six tests. Auto Bild placed it 28th of 32 overall in 2020 and 26th of 32 in 2021. Wet stops were 56m in 2020, 24.4% longer than best, and 58.5m in 2021, 17.2% longer. In the mixed summer and all-season Auto Navigator 2019 comparison it was also last for measured wet braking, while the 2017 Auto Bild test placed it last of ten overall.
The unusual exception was second of six in the 2015 Auto Bild SUV test in 215/65 R16, with praise for snow performance, dry lateral grip and low rolling resistance. That small SUV field and different size do not establish the same balance elsewhere: Auto Bild 2017 criticised very poor snow handling and high wear, recording snow handling eleventh of twelve at 56.3km/h. Dry handling was better there, fourth of twelve at 113.4km/h. Aquaplaning commentary also varies unusually, from weak in 2015 to strong in 2017, despite the latter's tenth-of-twelve straight result. These conflicting findings limit broad strengths; the more consistent concern is long wet stops.
