I didn't feel rubber grips the road on dry roads but on wet road it make me feel secure. I have been using these tyres for 35K km. I think over 30K km, I need a new tyre set.

A quality tyre from a quality manufacturer. They are what I expected except on electric range. I had michelin energy saver tyres and I did have more range. It increased my fuel consumption 0.2l per 100km. This is because of higher rolling resistance and because I have a hybrid, it affects electric range a bit. On a regular car I don't think it would be noticeble.
The dry and wet grip are great, a big advantage from the michelin tyres. Also more confortable and feels safer, but it seems to wear fast.

So I bought my second car a Renault Espace MPV as a chill, hangout car that can carry my wares all around . The summers that were on the car are GeneralTyre Alitmax Sports, I drove those for a year and I can tell there is a major difference between those and a new set of PremiumContacts.
I found a set of 225/55R17 Contipremiums which are quiet expensive new since it's an uncommon size, so I've found a 2015 but unused set for 30pounds per tire. The tire fitting guys said that deal was a gift.
With my new set of PremiumContacts the car handles much better, there is no squealing sound in 90° sharp turns, it is so much easier to get the steering wheel back to straight after 90° turns in the city.
The riding comfort is about 20-30% better, it feels like I have air suspension shocks installed after the tire change, it is very smooth.
These tires are much more quiet and I am much more confident in my turns, like 50% more confident.
These are my 2nd set of ContiPremiums, I used to have them for a while on my previous car (Peugeot 307)
I can't say much about dry and wet handling / breaking, I think it's one of the best, if not the best tires out there. The only thing I mind is the price for uncommon sizes.

Good Tyres when new, factory fitted on my new Ford Transit Custom. As other reviews on other sites, these wear out and go misshapen very quickly. Rubber compound is far too soft not suitable for van use.

On the performance part of the PremiumContact 5, I cannot really make a subjective review. A 240 estate in standard tune just is not a car that invites you to take it near the limits, and I have not been in an emergency situation demanding the most of the tyres. I will have to go on the test results for that.

Compared to my previous tyres (Maxxis and secondhand Firestones) the biggest difference is better comfort. Rolling noise is not particularly excellent and in bends I can hear the lateral forces on the tyres more than I was used to.
They are smoother on uneven roads, though.
Steering feels okay, though not particularly precise or with lots of feedback.
The one drawback is the longevity, or lack of it. I'm down to 3 mm profile on the oldest set in less than 20,000 miles of touring and that has me looking for other tyres when the time comes to replace these. The PremiumContact 6 is not yet available in sizes below 16".

I had two set of these at my golf, and have driven 170000km with two sets together. If you have enough money this tyres are the best what you can wish from your tires at dry or wet road. You cannot get bad tires at Continental. But they have a price. For me they are much better than Michelins and they will last very long if you drive carefully.

I live in South East Asia, the average temperature is around 32 degrees C with sunny skies all year around. I have used the CPC 5 for almost 2 years with 28000km on them. By this time, I had to replace them since they had reached the thread limit. Overall, I was very satisfied with these tyres- They had very good grip in both wet and dry conditions. They were reasonably quite and did a good job in the comfort department as well. However, they do not last long. Like I said, I had to replace them after 28000 km. I had the bridgestone er30's before and I must say, the CPC 5 was slightly better in comfort and quietness (they looked a lot bulkier then the bridgestones as well), but the bridgestone's lasted almost 50000kms.

Excellent performance when new. Would not lose grip in any circumstances. Grip decreased significantly in last 4 mm in both wet and dry weather.

It's the second time I use continental tyres for my car. They are excellent on dry and wet roads of Greece, which are very bad and slicker. The braking is very quick and in small distance and very safe. I think they are the best tyres for my car under the circumstances of Greece and I will certainly buy four of them again next month.

TLDR: A solid all round summer tyre without any weaknesses.

At low to moderate speeds, in warmer 10 degree plus temperatures, these tyres don't feel any different wet or dry. Coming from a set of Michelin Energy Saver plus, this was a revelation. In colder sub 5 degree temperatures, the grip does fall off noticeably but even then they feel about as grippy as the Energy Savers at peak performance. Also in contrast to the other reviewers, I haven't had problems with high wear with 5mm tread remaining on the rears after 16,000miles. Sure the Energy Savers were at 6.5mm over the same period but the enhanced grip of the Continentals make the trade off worthwhile, at least for me. Also after 2 years use, the Continentals also still look new. At this stage, the Energy Savers started to develop haircut cracks that grew worse over time.

The tyre is almost as quiet as the Energy Saver. It gives off a touch more roar, but not an amount you would notice if you weren't specifically listening out. The ride comfort is about the same.

Tyre life lasted 64000 miles with easy driving style. Road holding in both wet and dry was good. Brought Continental as they were fitted on the car when new.

I bought these tyres because they won most tyre tests. I was verry happy with them when they were new. Good grip on dry and wet, I was able to go faster then other cars when heavy rain (but that may be in drivers heads or tyre size and not the actual tyres).

Every year, with depth of the tread going down, they were worse and worse. They got hard every year. Fifth year, they were worse then my winter tyres in spring when I changed tyres. They had about 4mm tread. So the more you drive, the worse the tyres get.
They were pretty expensive (comparing to others in this size) so I expected more from them.
Last year, I got puncture when I accidentally drive over hidden curb, sidewall was destroyed - 10 holes on outerside, 3 on innerside. Maybe my fault, but I got worse accident with different and older tyres (on old car) without problem.

Won't buy again, for me, Continental makes tyres for tests, tyres changes a lot with years and wear.
