Firestone RoadHawk is most often described as a strong-value mid-range tyre with confident dry and wet grip (including good resistance to standing water) and a generally comfortable ride. However, a large share of drivers report rapid tread wear-sometimes uneven-leading to poor longevity and value over time. Another recurring complaint is very soft sidewalls/deflection that can make the tyre look under-inflated and contribute to vague steering/handling on some cars, with noise levels also reported as higher by a notable minority.

as to wet grip/road feedback and handling never drove to the limit but normal driving with occasional fairly fast cornering
they hold a 40 degree 1 in 8 bend well at 80+ .....but after having a free health check done on the car after a small repair
found out my 6 months old less than 1500mls travel depths were 5m on both front tyres...
Comfort medium and noise slightly raised.... need to think price over necessity before buying again..

Shite wear rate you'll be lucky to see 9000 miles out of them. A disgrace!

Bought two new front tyres on Astra Diesel (2012) they've lasted 11000 miles and are down to 1.6! £89 each . Not good at all. Changed to Dunlop this time.

This is the first time I have put anything on my car other than Michelin however I am deeply impressed, they handle very well in dry and wet conditions, I have also experienced heavily water laden roads where these tyres performed as I would of hoped - I would not hesitate in purchasing these tyres again.

Really nice tyres on the golf. Switched from the original goodyears to these and they're just as good, but much cheaper. They're made by Bridgestone.

Purchased Two front tyres @ Halfords as they where cheap for a mid to premium tyre and had £20 Argos voucher attached.
When I checked tyre tread depth found only 7mm middle and 6.5mm outer edge.
Never had a new tyre under 8mm before, alway 8 to 10mm.
May be that's why there cheap!
Will contact Firestone to see why.
