Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Hi there Is these tyres suitable for Tesla 3 long range size 235/45/R18 XL. Thanks Phil

If you can find the correct load rating the tyre will be suitable, but this is a budget tyre so you might find the wet grip very low or higher energy use than you're used to.

Given 83% while driving a Hyundai Genesis Coupe V6 (245/45 R18) on mostly town for 2,500 spirited miles
super cost effective....NOT a true performance tire ( buy Blizzak for this) sidewalls are very weak relative to the RE050's normally on my whip. but I WANTED grip , road hold, NOT winter rally rubber.
100% happy with them.Only 1 winter, and expect 2 more good winter s from them...not much wear

Given 87% while driving a Tesla (245/45 R18) on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
It's 2021/22 on the west coast and these tires are on my Tesla Model 3 (rear wheel drive) and performing well in wet and dry. There has been no evidence of hydro-planing. Have had three dynamic balancing jobs done to the wheels (by two different professional jobbers within a 72 hour time span and they still hint at being slightly out-of-balance at speeds 102 - 105 kph. Not convinced that the present-day tread pattern will be effective in snow but that remains to be seen and felt.

Given 58% while driving a SEAT Cupra 300 (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 3,000 spirited miles
Good tyres for a winter option on a budget. Not high performance by any stretch of the imagination.
I wouldn't trust these for track use, but very good in the ice and snow!
Without snow, they're not really worth it however.
