Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 spirited miles
Positively surprised by the overall performance of these Tyres. Budget priced but quiet and cannot fault the grip in the dry and especially in the wet which is where I thought they would be susceptible. Fitted to a Range Rover they have now done over 20,000 miles and still have a good few thousand miles left in them. I had just bought the Car and after considerable expense in the initial Car purchase put these Tyres on with the intention of upgrading them to a set of the well known brands later on when finances permitted. I honestly can't fault them and shocked at how well they are performing to the extent that I will be replacing them with the same when they eventually wear out. I drive around 25K miles a year and have done for over 40 years and these tyres are as good as any I have experienced in fact even better than some of the more popular German, Italian and French brands which are literally double the price and then some. In the past I have bought some budget tyres and instantly regretted it realising it was a false economy but these Accelera ST's have totally surpassed my expectations.

Driving on mostly country roads for 6000 average miles
I bought these for my L32 Range Rover Vogue to replace the Pirelli Scorpions which didn’t last long and to me didn’t feel very grippy. The Avons - which are made in Britain - have been a revelation. Dry and wet grip is excellent. They are quiet. And I get 10% better economy too. I got one puncture days after having them all fitted which was irritating but which was able to be repaired. I have had one tyre deflate rapidly but which seemed to be ok in reflating so am not sure what happened there. Shall definitely buy these again and shall fit them to my P38 too and possibly my 5 series. Very impressed and good to buy British. So far have done 6000 miles with no significant sign of wear so they are lasting well too.

Driving on mostly country roads for 50 easy going miles
I've used the Cooper Zeon LTZ for over 10 years, over about 200,000 miles and I'm on my 5th set. The tyres have never punctured and give about 50,000 miles of use before needing replacement, although I replace them when they get to 4mm of tread. 90% of my driving is on tarmac but when I do go off-road, I don't want to get stuck! Off road use is mainly muddy tracks and grass fields. Off road, the tyres have performed very well and only occasionally, come close to leaving me stranded - in very slippery mud. I had Nitto Terra Grapplers fitted before the LTZ's and they were better off-road but quite noisy on tarmac and gave quite a harsh ride.
On road, the Coopers are almost as quiet as the OE Pirelli P Zero's (which are useless off-road). Wet and dry grip is very good and the ride and handling pretty much the same as the P Zero's. However, I drive quite gently so never explore the 'handling' limits. If you want a tyre which performs 90% as well as a P-Zero on tarmac (in normal use) and 80% as well as Terra Grapplers off road, then the LTZ's are for you. They offer a perfect compromise and very difficult to beat.
