Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tyre tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Top 3 Accelera Snow Reviews

Given 10% while driving a Hyundai Accent (185/65 R13) on mostly country roads for 3,158 spirited miles
Tires were completely destroyed in under 4,000 miles, had to remove from car. Absolutely the worst tires I have EVER driven in my ENTIRE life. I have driven on multiple brands likely well over 1 million miles since I am 57 years old. These are absolute CRAP, and would not recommend to ANYONE. Between Wal Mart, Priority Tire, and the tire company, warranty appears to be non existant. HORRIBLE customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND,

Cracking tyres. They took a few miles to get used to as you feel the need to turn in slightly more through a corner, then ease out of it steadily. probably due to the massive blocks and softness. Grip was excellent. I changed back to my Summer tyres in April. On the day I changed back it was about 9 degrees C and very wet. I put my Michelin Pilot Primacy's back on and nearly ended u in a hedge with the loss of wet grip between the two.

i have a new car with different trre sizes and am putting these on again.

Latest Accelera Snow Reviews

Given 100% while driving a Opel vectra c (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
I had those tyres for a few months now. Comfort on motorways at the high speeds are amazing. Very low road feedback.
Grip driving on snow and ice are very good, causing someone to drive in rear of my car last week as I stopped much quicker than another car when I have tried running over the pedestrian.
Having loads of torque available in my car those tyres are gripping to the road when accelerating heavily.
Good acceleration on wet and dry as well.
I will buy again those tyres or any new future version.
