Nice Looking tyre no doubt about that but the wear is awful. Tracking / Suspension has been checked and all is ok. The tyres on the front have only lasted 9k which I was very dissappointed about. Shoulder wear is a big problem on these tyres on heavy cars in my oppinion. I dont wear `lead` boots as its a MPV so no racing car.

Would not buy these tyres again !

It's hard to tell what your getting with a review but as a, fast bust sensible driver (60-80 mph)in rural Scotland I really like these tyres.

I drive a Golf Mk5 and they really suit this car, the ride is quite and smooth and the steering is great. There is a big difference in noise with these tyres compared with my winter tyres - no surprises - they are way better.

In the wet I find them very good, but I do ease off a little, i've never had them let go on me. They will aquaplane in deep water at high speed, but only slightly - no tyre can disperse the deep stuff quick enough.

Looks shouldn't count but inevitably they do. Tyre looks great on an alloy and has rim protectors which is amazing for one of the cheapest mid range tyres - even the vredesteins cant do this, nor do they look good.

Only downside, I've had them on for 3 summer seasons switching front to back and they are finally done now after about 20,000 miles. Maybe I would have liked more.

I use Vredestien snow tracs in the winter, but I have just bought a new set of ZZ3 - ?54 each - What a buy when you know what you are getting.

Given 87% while driving a BMW Mini Cooper 1600. (205/45 R17 V) on mostly town for 1,000 spirited miles
Had some downpours lately, wet weather grip is good, dry grip is as good as it gets.
Only done about a thousand miles on them so far, but wear seems good too.
Road noise is negligible, ride quality is fine for a run flat.
Have recommended them to other MINI owners who were thinking of getting cheaper non run flats. Once they have had the newness worn off, they improve in terms of grip to a level that should satisfy anyone.
If anyone say's that they don't perform well in the wet, i would suggest they are driving too fast for the weather conditions!

Given 100% while driving a MINI Cooper S (205/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 30,000 average miles
Avon RR3 runflats fitted to a R53 MINI Cooper S to replace the OEM fitment Pirelli runflats. Good progressive grip and low noise, with outstandingly good behaviour in the wet, especially standing water. Very much more comfortable ride quality than the standard fitment runflats. Highly recommended

Got these tyres for a great price, was still deciding between these and Goodyear F1 but so glad i chose these. The handling is amazing with them- car used to understeer byt not anymore. Very impressed. Havent had them for long and only tested in light rain- yet to have a heavy rain fall with them but im sure they will by fine. the tyres insprire confidence- i do go round corners very fast- now i dont have to worry so much about losing grip!!

Bought the zz3 in a rush last winter. They replaced the bridgestone potenza re040's on the front of the type-r. In the dry the pot's give better grip and just get better the hotter they get, loved them. In the dry the avon's seem to push/understeer on slow corners taken quickly with acceleration and give that horrible shearing squeel sound as if the walls are rolling. The pot's make no noise and grip like mad things i think because they have hard walls. The avons seem ok on fast corners though. The avon's are progressive as they start to slide i just prefer the unlimited grip of the pot's.
In the wet the pot's are crap and found them a bit worrying resulting steady driving in the wet. The avon's are better which is nice. Now i need 2 more tyres on the rear so will be sticking with avon purely as they are ok and the price of the pot's seem to have gone sky high and i refuse to pay so much. The avon's give slightly more road noise too and have not had them long enough to comment on wear so gave them 5. All in all loved the pot's but the avons will do.

I had a new set of 4 tyres exactly 12 months ago, and covered over 20000 miles. I found the tyres good although I wanted a bit more wear out of them. When below freezing the tyres go hard and quite loud but most of the time they are ok. Now I'm below 2mm they are becoming very noisy (pretty normal).

Generally for the cost the tyres are good value for money.

Early day's yet, but so far very pleased with them. Not had much rain yet so can't say too much about that, they look awesome on the car, the tread pattern is very cool. Will get back to you in a few month's with a better idea.

Given 74% while driving a SEAT Ibiza 1.9 Tdi (205/45 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 16,000 spirited miles
Generally an excellent tyre - far better than pirelli P-Zero Neros I had before. Good grip in both dry and wet conditions. They are quite a soft compound which allows good grip but the fronts only lasted 15k miles (the rears are still going strong). I've replaced the fronts with a harder compound Hankook. All round very good value.

A good performance tyre with a great tread pattern which helps stability these were great replacements for the awful Yokos that I bought the car with.
