This tyre is fitted to a 5 door A1. The purpose is a year round everyday tyre legally capable of ski season road trips to the Alps. Consequently, a very safe tyre for UK conditions year round. For non-spirited driving, the tyre is excellent, quiet, efficient. When driven calmly, the tyre performs equally well in dry, wet and on long road trips to the Alps. When I am driving faster, I feel the snow bias limits handling speed in UK conditions and I cannot drive the A1 as quickly on a greasy UK B road as I could something like the TS870 winter tyre. For me in a faster car, it isn't a tyre I would choose.... the search goes on for the optimum tyre on COLD, greasy roads in cold ambient temperatures for fast road use. However, for my wife in an A1, excellent and safe, all year round. I think it is an excellent price, often discounted, well stocked and I would recommend it for anyone that isn't spirited in their driving.

Great year-round tire for my AWD hatchback in Canada. From deep snow in the backcountry, to highway cruise in the summer, it adapts great. I am confident in them when we get 25-degree celcius temperature swings within a 12 hour period.

Dry handling is ok but wet handling is really bad. There is a lot of understeering and poor traction on wet. I don’t know if it’s only a problem of my product but I would never buy this tyre again.

Just done 2000 miles on these across Northern Europe, brilliant tyres, tested them on the autobahn and they were great , in fact very good! This trip was in the height of a very hot summer, so yet to be tested on snow and ice.

i have had the same problem with both cross-climate tyres they all wear on the inside edge, I have an audi a5 cab quattro and had the 4-wheel alignment done by Audi and an independent who say the alignment is spot, on this also leads to another problem they become noisy and i have to replace them early with lots of tread on the outside. so now i am trying MPS5 as it was origanaly fitted with MPS3

Good as a replacement for real winter tyres in normal European climates. No contender against real summer tyres in dry&wet handling characteristics. Would buy them again, but not as an all-season tyre, only driving them in the winter.

I've been using the CC2 tyres for about a year and have done over 15,000 kilometres in that time. I live in central Poland, so winters are fairly mild. The fuel consumption has not changed (I think it has increased slightly). They are quite quiet, a bit noisier than the average summer tyre. They grip poorly on ice but I don't think any civilian tyres grip well. In the dry they never squealed, in the wet it is hard to lose grip. In the snow they lose traction quite late, I would compare them to an average winter tyre. But even when they do lose traction, they are predictable at all times. In any case, they perform better in winter conditions than budget winter tyres and incomparably better than a few years old winter tyres. I have not noticed any significant tyre wear. My tyre choice was influenced by Tyre Reviews and I am very grateful for it. If you don't live in an area with a very hard climate they would be a very good choice. They have never let me down so far and will perform better than summer tyres during cold spring mornings and better than winter tyres during warm sunny days in winter. I highly recommend this tyres.

Better tyre through all year than other premium summer tyres.

Figured I would add my say on these pretty poor tires after 12 months and roughly 5k miles.
Background, car they were fitted to is a mk4 Clio. The car is my runabout and spends 95% of its time on county lanes. I would say I push on when the conditions are safe and clear to do so.
The tires I was coming from (this time last year) were Mitc PS4’s, with 5mm even wear. The sizes is 205/45/17.
I had run the PS4 in snow and found them be somewhat difficult to get on with. Upon hearing of the tires snow credentials and supposed wet/dry grip I was sold on the CC2’s for a daily. I had them fitted and full alignment done.
I drive the same roads every day, and have done for over 20yrs, I am very familiar with clios and have had this one 3 years. Therefore feel I am able to give a balanced review on this tire fitted on a small car.
Dry grip - no areas I can complain about. When the tire does break away it’s quite slow and not snappy in the dry.
Full wet roads - not a bad show on properly wet roads. But they do not clear standing water at all well. If you hit a moderate puddle at 50-60mph on light bend, the car will aquaplane severely.
Lightly frosted surface. They were pretty good here (even from cold), and offered good confidence. That said, if you could get heat in to the PS4s they wouldn’t be far behind.
Sheet ICE - again pretty good. But ultimately on ICE without spikes any tire is going to slip.
Light muddy covering on road (the kind you find near passing point on country lanes in the winter). Truly scary! Genuinely feels like your driving on oil. This affects braking and the car can easily be made to go sideways fairly significantly at less than 40 mph with a quick flick of the wheel. Notably the PS4 seemed very strong in exactly the same conditions.
Greasy morning due - again truly scary! I have nothing positive at all I can say, other than the stone chip surfaces (10mm stone dumped on hot tar) tend not to get that wet in the morning. The black tarmac was a different story. They will break traction mid corner with no warning, or just under steer heavily, feeling like they never really get grip. Again the PS4 excelled in this area.
The final point I will make is how I’ve come to write this review. The tire is obviously snow marked. The side effect of that seems to be an incredibly soft tire compound. This evening I was on a road am very familiar with and managed to blow the sidewall right out. I had run into a very small break away at edge of the road. Not even enough to jolt the car, but enough to do the tire. Upon getting it off and inspecting it closely I noticed a number of fairly large slices in various parts of the tire was (not man made), both inner sideway and in the main contact area. This is damage I’ve found across all 4 tires now.
Overall I would not buy these again, and really fail to see how Mitch have the audacity to price these lower performance tires over the clearly better Pilot Sport range. The tires all have well over 6mm left, they’re all now coming off and I’m going to try the PS5.

Replaced the run flats on my daily BMW with these in march. It was really sunny dry day and I questioned my choice. Then again I live in Scottish Highlands. The car has genuine e92 m3 arms front and rear and a few handling suspension upgrades so I was planning Michelin PS4's but was offered a deal for a full set of crossclimate. Anyway I was initially impressed, feedback great handling and feel all good. However the test came with a week of unexpected winter showers and snow. The car was able to drive as RWD like I was driving in dry, accidents around me and car felt like I was driving along a summer coastal highway. Similar story in wet so much grip! After 4 months they still baffle on a RWD how I can have so much feel and grip. Wear seems fine and plenty life left in tyre. Would recommend them highly especially living on farm type roads. They transform a car that handles and feels good to excellent in sub terrible conditions and in dry feel great, after all they are michelin. Think my favourite daily tyre for my roads has been found.

These tyres are great for everyday use, they have a lot of grip in dry and wet condition (I don't know in snowy condition, will update next winter). I drive mostly in country road in Italy so the handling and the road feedback are very important to me. I don't like the feedback from this tyres, the car lean a lot and the ESP come in at every speedy curve and the steering wheel has a bizarre behavior during the realignment.

Lincoln 2018 MKZ-H , OEM tires Michelin MxM4 , the MxM4 tires were very good in dry and wet and handling , but not good in snow In fact the MKZ-h is very bad in snow .. I have had all season Perilli ( P7+) and Goodyear triple tread that were good . However , the Michelin CC2 has changed the way I can now drive in the snow , it takes me safely through snow and even some ice , the handling is almost as good as the MXM4 on dry and wet but on snow it really shines. I would never to be able to make it up my driveway in winter snow before , but with CC2 I go straight up the driveway NO problem ! This past winter here in the Northeast was the safest I have ever felt on the road in 40 years because of the CC2 tire .
