Unfortunately these were fitted by ATS based on the "midrange tyre policy" dictated by my company on a BMW M235i Gran Coupe xDrive. Believe me when I say they should not be used on a car with 300BHP and 4WD. They dramatically changed the handling of the car, making it unpredicatble and dangerous. A pair were fitted to the front axle initially and other than the increased road noise compared to the previous Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres I didn't immediately notice the lack of grip. The M235i Gran Coupe is a priortiy front wheel drive car based on the Mini platform, so if there was any understear it wasn't that noticable. This changed drastically when a pair were fitted to the rear axle. When changing direction quickly country A and B roads or somethimes even changing lane on the motorway, the rear of the car would twitch, almost as if it was about to go in to fishtailing motion. This was very unpredictable and scary. Causing me to loose all confidence in the handling of the car. I was terrified of a scenario where I would have to take avoiding action on a motorway in the wet for example as I felt the consequences could have been catastrophic. I appreciate that this tyre is not recommneded on this car by BMW but be weary that ATS were also comfortable to fit these tyres to high torque EVs. Be warned. Stay away.
I managed to get the tyres replaced by raising a health and safety complaint with HR but have been told the next time tyres are required, they will be as per the 'midrange tyre policy'. I am opting out of the company car scheme for this reason.
I have just replaced the original tyres with crossclimate 2s and have travelled less than 100 miles with them. I can't comment on other aspects of their performance, but I am very disappointed with the effect they have had on the ride quality of the car. I noticed this immediately. The car used to be very smooth on all road surfaces but now it feels unsettled and knobbly. I've tried altering the tyre pressure but it's made no difference. This is contrary to the reviews I had read, based on which I chose these tyres. I suppose they might improve with time, but if they don't I'm afraid I won't be able to live with them and they will need to be replaced - very annoying because they were not cheap.

While performance is good overall, please be aware that these tyres only come with about 6.5mm of tread so cant see them lasting a very long time. They are shockingly bad on fuel consumption, previously I ran Hankooks 4s2 h750 and my mpg dropped by 10% since I put on the CC2.
Overall performance is good, comfort is excellent almost feels like I am sitting in a different car because the ride is so soft and supple. Road feedback is average and these tyres do not like to be pushed however I am fine with that since I drive a family car anyways. Real shame about the fuel consumption, apart from that the tyre is excellent.

I've spend one and half year (1 summer and 2 winter) with this tires. I've gone ski and used it icy and snowy roads. It's snow performance is really good as tirereviews.com test results shows. Only downside is that it is not too comfortable as using summer tires on summer time. But I think this is acceptable for everyone who don't like changing tires 2 times every year. I'm definitely recommending it.
These tires have made my car a winter warrior. I travel from the bay area to the snow frequently in my Camry SE AWD. We've been getting massive amounts of snow and not a problem with these tires. I pass through all chain control and handles in the snow very comfortably. I driven in severe snow conditions where they close the highway shortly after.
I did have a ice slip going down a hairpin turn with ice on the bottom. To be fair, everyone behind me slipped on that turn. Recovered from it very quickly though.
I will keep buying these tires for my car. It is a little pricier than normal tires, but with the long treadware and ability to drive in sunny bay area and in snowing conditions is worth every penny.
Driven for 25000 km. Dry handling ok. Wet handling is disastre. Two times went out the road on 55km/h on wet road. Be very careful. On snow ok.

I was looking for a set of all seasons tires and I had a choice between Bridgestone Weather Control A005 Evo and Michelin CrossClimate 2. A friend bought her A005 Evo, I was driving her car and noticed an increased noise and that disappointed me, in the end I chose CC2. Until now, I had dedicated tires, but because I don't do many km a year, I chose all seasons. I had read reviews about CC2 and in the end I realized that the information is real. I say from the beginning that I drive normally, not sports, and most of the roads are in the city. On a wet road the grip is good, as well as on a dry road, I caught a torrential rain and the tires were ok. The noise produced by them is low on good asphalt, but on rough roads they are a bit louder but not disturbing.
From the reviews, I noticed low wear on heavy cars but on light cars wear is really ok, one more reason to be happy that I chose CC2.

Best tire I have owned for all-around performance. I had Pilot Sports before, and obviously in dry and wet warm temperatures they are superior, but what you give up with the Cross-Climates is not enough to worry about. The big bonus is winter driving is a breeze. These puppies are like snow tires you can use year-round. You only need one set of tires. Summer performance is fine. If you want to track your car, get Pilot Sports and a set of winters. If you drive on the street, buy these. I was expecting them to be really noisy, but they are fine.
(Other tires I have used: Michelin Defender, Michelin X, Michelin X-Ice, Nokian winters, Firehawk Police Pursuit (summer and winter), BF Goodrich, Goodyear (including Police RSA), Hankook, Sears Michelin all-season, Michelin Pilot Sport, Michelin Truck tires).
So, i have a bit of experience with tires.
I won't buy anything else.
I got these tires recently to go to the Tahoe, and they are great. Living in the Bay Area, it's kind of hard sell to get pure snow tires for your drive in the snow is only 10% of the commute.
I have an AWD SE Camry (yeah they make those now) and I am extremely confident in them. I decided to go when it was snowing and no hiccups. The camry detects when the road was icy and automatically switch the torque to AWD.
Since a lot of people going to this area are not necessarily knowledgeable of driving or even equipped to drive in the snow. I drove very cautiously (35 MPH Max) I saw a lot of spinouts.
I have been stuck and kept spinning out on other AWD cars equipped with all season tires. The key to tap on the accelerator gently
I originally posted a review of these tyres in Dec 2021, shortly after having them fitted. A year later I am still extremely pleased with them - they suit they car very well, providing extra grip and confidence without impacting comfort and noise which are easily on par with the OE tyres (ContiPremiumContact5) that were replaced. Fuel economy also improved slightly - by about 0.5mpg - after the tyre change.
After covering 13K miles, tread wear has been 2.6mm at the front and 1.7mm for the rear, so with occasional wheel rotation they should last between 35 to 40K miles.
I am most surprised by the comfortable ride. The agile handling especially in dry conditions is a joy. They are quiet enough although the 300C is very quiet. The braking is great all around. The wet performance could be a little better but the winter performance is outstanding period. I live in Minnesota and these tires outperform any all season M+S tires with 3PMSF rating. It is fabulous to have this level of winter performance without having to change over to winter only tires. The tracks in the snow are really cool to look at. I had OE Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires that were very good performers, even in winter with my all wheel drive. They had a while to go before replacement but when I saw the CC2, I bought a set and have never looked back.
Good if you don't drive much and want a single tyre for the year.
I am pretty happy and impressed with them overall. Better than my last (old) winter tyres in the snow.
Only real negatives for me:
noisy on some roads
steering input is slightly delayed (which I don't mind as the ceed cd is very direct anyways)
