Fitment comes from each tyre's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

I bought LT version instead of P version to get a little more tread depth and load capability. They are pleasant for an AT tire. A little bit of noise around 55 MPH. They perform well in all types of road surfaces and conditions except for ice which is to be expected from an AT tire. Southern Ontario Canada is the location they are used in. City driving affected fuel mileage, but highway driving, not so much. Mounted on a 2019 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x. The only tire I can compare them to would be the factory equipped P series Hankook AT-M. The Nokians are better in every way except for comfort, noise and mileage which is to be expected when comparing an LT AT tire to a P series all weather tire.

Tire compound is so hard that winter traction is terrible. Same for wet traction. Tires spin on wet roads taking off from stop lights.

4WD Frontier in PNW. 15K mi. The Outpost APT performs above average in nearly all aspects; a true utility player. I’ve owned Michelin Premier AS, Primacy AS, CC2, and X-ICE, as well as Duelers, and that’s what I’m comparing to. I’m very pleased with the handling. Lateral wet traction performs solidly, but wet braking is not as impressive. Yet, they really shine in hydroplaning. They remain pliable and hold their grip on cold pavement better than most. There’s a bit more hum on smooth pavement, but otherwise is the same as the Primacy AS. It absorbs bigger bumps a tad better than the small ones and a whole bunch better than AS tires. I’ve done about 65 miles on gravel and FS roads, and they performed immensely better than any other tire I’ve owned. No way I’d take these in sand or true mud. But soft shoulders and dirt/gravel road – no problem. I ‘ve had 7 days on 3 different snow events and it performed well on powder, less impressive on compact snow. But are still outclassed by CC2. I’ve not encountered ice. There’s been no gas milage hit. Interesting observation: when real-time tire pressure gets up to 39-40, the fuel economy greatly improves: 1 – 1.5MPG. The 80% treadwear indicator is just barely perceptible now – very good sign. Small complaints: rock collection and retention is much higher than I’ve encountered before.
In summary, these tires manage quite well on any road type or condition that I’ve encountered: a solid one tire solution.

These tires are fantastic. I'm very impressed with how good these are in the snow. It's not a studded winter tire but it's pretty close, I can't imagine it gets better than this for a full year capable tire. On road handling in the dry and wet is good for an A/T, obviously not as good as a street oriented tire would be. Off road I have no complaints, but I don't do anything harder than a 4/10 on the OnX scale. They handle rough roads and potholes very well.

Fuel mileage hit has been about -1 mpg from the OEM tires. These tires are quite loud and droney especially around ~50mph

Cooper Discoverer Snow Claw 265-70-17 Nissan Frontier 2,000 miles December 29, 2025
These tires have seen 2 Michigan winters so far. In deep snow on rural roads grip is exceptional. On unplowed roads while having fun in 2wd there was a lot of grip and never once felt like my truck was coming out from under me. On mixed roads with ice and snow there were no complaints to be had either. On completely slick ice after an ice storm and rain mix the tires were able to still provide traction at low speeds with some activation of abs on breaking and some slippage on acceleration. Compared to other winter tires these are exceptional in all types of snow with better slush performance than a pair of viking contact 7s I had on a previous vehicle. Ice traction may not be as good as other studless winter tires however I do not have a baseline on what a winter tire should feel like on completely slick ice.

I have the AT4Ws mounted up to my 2015 Nissan Frontier King Cab Pro4X 6spd and they are my first new set of tires on this truck. These tires have been on the truck for 16,000 km now and have been rotated twice, with the rears crossed forwards and the fronts moved straight back. When new, these had 14/32nds of an inch of tread, and they currently have 13/32nds across the entire tread. I drive very gently with no hard acceleration, braking, or turning so these tires were never subject to high forces which may explain the minimal wear. The AT4Ws give me unlimited confidence in the dry, leave me unfazed in the wet, and unconcerned in the snow. I have occasionally taken my truck into the dirt and mud on light trails and never faced difficulty. However, when comparing it to the Hakka R3s I have on my SUV, the snow braking can definitely be improved hence the 7 rating.
