I bought the car with fresh tyres. It is a light FWD, so nothing extreme. Totally normal, daily drive including winding roads, mountain passes, highway. Overall, the winter experience is very poor. Hardly any grip on wet, cold roads. Snow, forget it. It is DANGEROUS on snow and ice, grip is non-existent. Almost comparable to a summer tyre. This winter I am buying a set of winter tyres.Summer and dry roads is a different story, fortunately. I have been driving on extremely warm tarmac this summer, and the car was handling fine. Good grip in corners, braking is fine. Comparable to a summer tyre. Conclusion? Despite being a 4 season tyre, it is clearly not, I will keep it as a summer set until it wears out and have a dedicated winter set. Comfort is not bad, not noisy.
I can compare with Hankook Winter Icept RS3, which I have been driven on several cars for over ten years. Amazing snow and ice grip, good aquaplanning, but extremely noisy. The only reason why I would not buy it again. I will probably go mid range and buy a Bridgestone Blizzak or Nokian Snowproof next.
