Tyre has been decent initially, but after a year and less than 10k miles it started to develop small cracks between and at the base of tread. Significant loss of grip on wet motorway, noise level increased, fuel effieciency dropped.. handling is terrible too, floats like a boat with no precision, especially on high speed. Absolutely avoid! Terrible tire.

Used Turanza 5 on a Mini Countryman S, and on Mercedes W140 S320. Turanza 5 was extremely bad with Mini Countryman. It was very good with S320. This revised version 6 is much better than Turanza 5. I would say at least 10-15% better in grip. Drove around 7500 miles in 3 years with S320. They are perfect when new, very soft, very comfortable. After 1 year (both Turanza 5 and Turanza 6) they get harder, they lose the comfort. Very satisfied with extreme rain grip. Satisfied with dry grip. Perfect durability in terms of tread depth, they never look old and they don't lose grip as they get older which is great. Overall, I would think twice before buying this again due to stiffness after 1 year...

I Previusly bought yokohamas of the same spec but these were on offer if you bought pairs so when it came time i got all 4 of turanza 6 tyres. The grip was not as impresive i noticed that strait of the line. But worse of all all 4 tyres were gonners by 10k not impressed at all, ive had budgets out last. Will not recomend or buy again for premium price tyres they massively under proformed.

Walls are very thin so it feels strange at first, but it's very quiet and comfortable, which is what I wanted.

Updating on previous reviews - these tyres suit the Seat Arona quite well with predictable handling wet and dry, even when pushed hard cornering in the wet.
Tyre pressure is a slight mystery so I experimented and also searched online for recommendations running at around 40 psi they still grip well in the wet.
I would probably try something else next time as others are getting slightly better reviews - maybe Pirelli C3, Falken ZIEX ZE 320, these seem to be my top 2 I would consider.

I’ve been using the Turanza 6 for 16 thousand kilometers and this period includes alternating temperature (between 9-35 degrees Celsius) with mostly sunny weather with dry roads and little bit of rainy weather with wet roads. In addition, for my tyre size, I only have 2 different load and speed indexes, which are 93V SL and 97W XL, I use the 97W XL variant. My opinion is, the XL version is a lot firmer and not so good in absorbing little snags on the asphalt. In the mid life of the tyre, it evolves to a consistent vibration which just ends in smooth asphalt. But let’s not slander this tyre, It’s really good about furl consumption, tread wear, and both dry-wet grip consistency with a sensitive steering wheel feel. So for conclusion, I really suggest you to buy the standard load (SL) version of it (even with a comfortable 55 section size) to both have good grip in all types of weather conditions and comfort with a good degree of snag damping. Maybe, I should have chosen the SL version :/

Changed from t005a to this tyre. Very comfortable and quiet tires. I just need a nice touring tires in my Corolla. Does the job well. Don't expect it to handle like a UHP tyre.

My first impressions after 100 miles.
Comfort - 10/10.. probably the quietest and comfy tyres money can get
Road feedback - 5/10 - good at low speeds, a bit all over the place at high speeds
Handling - 5/10 - good feedback at low speeds.
Understeering and quite unstable at high speeds. Tramlining also an issue.
Longevity - can’t comment yet but they should be able to last 30k miles.
Fuel consumption - user reporting better fuel consumption - didn’t notice any improvements
Comfort - 10/10.. probably the quietest and comfy tyres money can get

Cornering and lateral grip amazing for a 4X4.
So comfortable and noise levels that low that most passengers fall asleep!!!
Sidewalls are softer, but that’s to be expected with a touring tire.

Real sense of confidence and comfort when driving, over the budget tires they replaced.
I do well in excess of 50k on rural difficult roads with little off roads, much of it towing up to the national legal road limit of 7.5tons @ 80kph.
On one trip of over 1200km non stop, so impressed was my passenger with the drive ability, that he insisted on getting behind the wheel. He couldn’t believe the responsiveness of the steering wheel.
I have no interest in driving excessively/sporty, beyond the legal limits, etc, so I can’t comment on the dynamic limitations of the tires.
I believe they are good value for money relative to other competitors in the same tire size, but tire wear is the big unknown. Completed about about 15-20k on these tires since new before switching to winter tires, and looking forward to temperatures rising again.

Wanted to put in this review, after driving for about 500km. Right now, it is subjective at best, and will post a more comprehensive one after clocking more miles. Coming from a Giti Sport S2, the tyre comfort was way better (not a good comparison I know - UHP vs Touring). As I drive in Malaysia and Singapore, and it is now the rainy season, haven't had issues with wet grip and aquaplaning so far.
Sharpness of steering wheel is acceptable. Obviously lesser than the Giti Sport S2, but definitely not as muted / dead as some reviewers put it.
The quietness of the tyres are amazing, and very very quiet on smooth and fresh tarmac. It is also much better than UHPs on rougher tarmac.
The rolling resistance is also very noticeably lower than typical UHPs (I draw comparison to Michelin PS4, Goodyear F1A6, Giti Sport S2).
The softer sidewalls also mean a more comfortable ride. While it does affect cornering, with a bit more roll, it is not that bad for its intent as a touring tyre.
