I have recently put two of these as front tyres on my car and I am very happy with them. Grip when cornering or braking hard is excellent and progressive. Comfort and noise levels are also much better then my old tyres. Driving in heavy rain inspires confidence in places where before I was worried about aquaplaning. I don't know about wear but as long as they last me over a year (10-15K) I will be happy. I find it hard getting good tyres in this particular size and these continentals are by far the best I have tried yet.

This is third car i have had with Continental Premium Contact(2) with wear poor on all three occasions, got a puncture on present car after about 1500 miles so needed to buy replacement and cost in excess of ?90 and for that money you would be expecting better wear

I've had the Conti PremiumContact2s on for about 4 months and they've not put a foot wrong.
They stop the car with no fuss very quickly and outcrop the chassis's limit easily.
In the wet I've not driven on better tyres and wet roads feel as safe as in the dry

Replacing Falkens these were an expensive but well worth while purchase with new boots all round 3 years ago. Grip in dry excellent, v.good in rain. Biggest change was on the car which became much quieter, smoother ride, improved mpg and more FUN particularly in dry weather when tyres have warmed up.
134bhp petrol 98-03 Honda Accord, manual box, light loads mostly 1 passeneger on commutes, first 5k miles saw spirited driving in summer, when these tyres are warm in dry weather they stick very well. Remaining 11k miles over last 2+ years has been mixed use and more sedate. Times up on them and a tough decision what to do as pennies are tight. I would recommend despite the wear.

Great tyres with excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions. Very quiet too. However, it wears out fairly quickly.

?142 for two, quite pricey, however, performance excellent.

Changing from a set of diabolical Dunlop SP Sport 9000, these Premium Contact2 tyres have immense grip, sensitive steering and QUIET running! OK, so they don't look sexy, but....

Bought these because I couldn't find any performance tyre in my size - 15". Why is this? Anyway, they're brilliant. Great bite into corners, feel, progressiveness etc, and for those of you interested, I don't exactly hang around. They do everything I wanted from the performance tyre I couldn't buy! Grippy and confidence insipiring. But, don't expect them to last. I've done 6,000 miles (on the front wheels of a RWD car) and they've warn dramatically. Probably just over half way through their life. Fork out and have fun. I paid ?79 each, but I shopped around like mad
