Came as OEM on my 08 FIESTA TITANIUM. Good dry and wet weather grip. Quiet but not that comfy. After 25000, the casing is starting to become very noisy. Sounds like glue is coming loose. Continental South Africa will be doing inspection. Probably a faulty batch. Am buying Michelin Exalto in a few days time.

Good mileage from rears (32000 miles to minimum legal limit) and fronts (15000) and a great caravan towing tyre. Excellent grip in all conditions, much improved over P6000's we used to use, and will perform equally well wet or dry, though some sports tyres may be better grip/less mileage. We run standard pressures of 32psi in normal use, 36psi for economy and towing and monitor conciencously. Best miles we've ever had from any tyre/car combination. I'm not a heavy footed driver and aim for good mpg as much as possible, but cruise at the legal limit usually.

Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 tdi

Tyres are worn to wear bars after 18,000 miles, despite front-rear rotation to spread wear, and regular pressure checks/adjustment etc. Previous experience of Pirelli P6000s gave far higher mileage between tyre replacements.
Despite being a 7 seater our Zafira is mostly (95%) used as a four-seat estate car, so tyre wear rate is not down to regulary use with heavy loads etc
Very disappointed with tyre life, but as they were factory fitted form new I had no prior experience, and no choice.
Will consider replacement with Pirellis or another comparatively priced brand, but unlikely to repalacve with same Continental tyre.

I've done 200k+ in my polo and apart from the dunlops that came from factory, anything less than a set of these Conti's has me finding ditches. They always leave me feeling confident regardless of weather or road condition. The 1.9 Diesel polo is very nose heavy and prone to understeer, but these turn in everytime, they have my passengers pressed up to the window like Garfield! I only get 24k miles out of them, but better to come out the other side of a corner than not, rain or shine ;-)

The tyres were RunFlat ones, good in handling both in dry & wet roads plus a very reasonable tyre wear.
If I didn't change my alloys to bigger ones, I would have put them again....

Less than 10000 miles and wearing fast, they always feel as though they are about to "let go", especially on roundabouts in the wet, even when driven gently.

Had a set of Continental Sport contacts on this car when new. They wore out too quickly for my liking (15k on the front, 20k on the rear). Drove a mates E220K and noticed how quiet the tyres were on his vehicle and decided to replace mine with the same recipe of Continentals as fitted to his E-Class ie Premium contact 2. They are extremely quiet as far as road noise is concerned (very, very impressive). Don't think the grip is as good as the Sport contacts (no surprise) particularly when cornering hard as the car tends to break away at the back a bit quicker. They're wearing about the same as the original Sports - so no better there. I'd buy the Premium Contacts again though purely on the added refinement afforded to an already quiet car.

Tyres ok in dry and very good in the wet, but tyre wear is excessive. Fronts needed replacing at 7,000 miles which is expensive as approx ?130 each!
I've had continental tyres on 2 new cars now and tyre wear has been excessive on both. Other brands last much longer. Also found the continentals to be very noisy.

This tyre was a real plain jane on the shelves, but it sure did perform very well. Dry grip excellent, wet grip in heavy tropical storms even better. (caveat: i drive in a country with ambient temp at 27-30 deg c.) I would recommend this tyre to anyone. the drawbacks though are that they seemed to have wore itself out very quick and before i hit the tread wear indicator the fronts started to aquaplane a bit more than usual (this is after a year). Its also possible that with my confidence in the tyres i did tend to push them in the wet. Another little problem is that i got sidewall bubbles on all 4 of my tyres. could not quite explain why. though sometimes i do have to go up and down kerbs at very very slow speeds. To attest to the softness of the compound, i once had an emergency brake and the wheels literally shaved themselves in that area. you couldnt see it but the drive had a thud thud after. had to do some aggressive slaloms to re-round the tyres..... but i would do it all over again if i had the spare cash

Very recommended tyre. Much better comfort, dry and wet grip whem compared to the OE Bridgestone 591. Low noise as well. Wear is good, but worse than Bridgestone. I predict 25-30k miles, compared to 42k my Bridgestone lasted (driving in Brazil). This tyre is very resistant to pot holes: never got bubbles despite some impacts they received.

I was happy to pay a bit more than usual to get the Continentals after reading some reviews saying the wet weather grip was good, however,I have been a bit dissappointed with them. I stay in Scotland where there's plenty of rain,so wet weather grip is vital.
My car is front wheel drive, and at roundabouts especially I can feel the front end sliding.I have lost confidence in the tyres when cornering too and feel I have to nurse the car round....not very reassuring!
Yes, after 15000 miles the tread is down but the fronts still have 4/5mm left.
Will go back to Uniroyal Rallye 550s next change, a bit cheaper but more importantly a better wet weather tyre.
